Adana Amateur Photographers Society (AFAD) invites photographers from all around the world to take part in their 3rd International Photography Contest.

Eligibility Criteria
- Nationality: The participants of AFAD 3rd International Photography Contest can be of any nationality.
- Proficiency: The contest is open for all photographers irrespective of their level of proficiency i.e. amateur or professional.
Application Mode and Process
The application process of AFAD 3rd International Photography Contest will be completely online and the details of application process are as follow:
Specification of the Photographs:
The details related to the photographs, Themes etc. are as follow:
Subject: Fight against land degradation, desertification and drought.
Number of Entries: Each participant can submit up to 4 entries to each category.
Photo Manipulation: Editing or enhancing the photograph using software such as Photoshop etc. will lead to the disqualification of the entry.
Reward
The candidates selected as the winner of the International Desertification Photo Contest will get the following benefits:
- First Prize: The winner of the First prize will get a FIAP Gold Medal.
- Second Prize: FIAP Silver Medal will be given to the winner of Second Prize.
- Third Prize: The third prize winner will get FIAP Bronze Medal.
- Honorable Mentions: 6 participants will get FIAP Mention.
- AFAD Mehmet Baltacı Special Award (only for open color section),
- TFSF Special Award (only for print section),
- Acceptance: For every section 8 to 25 percent of all the images participating.
- Best photographer of the contest: The photographer who has the most acceptances and awards will be awarded with Best Photographer.
Selection Process
The winner of the contest will be notified by email on or after September 27, 2015.
