King’s College London is offering, ‘Dickson Poon Undergraduate Law Scholarships Programme’ in 2016-2017 for UK/EU and international applicants. Scholarship programme is available for full time undergraduate degree courses.
The aim of the Dickson Poon Undergraduate Law Scholarships Programme is to enable and encourage academically able students from any nationality.
Dickson Poon Undergraduate Law Scholarship 2017 is now accepting applications from students who have applied for undergraduate Law courses at KC, London through universities and colleges admission service and are looking for scholarships.
Dickson Poon undergraduate law scholarship is a merit based scholarship offered on the basis of the academic merit of the applicants at the strand campus. The candidate also has to qualify in LNAT-National Admission Test for Law.

Details:
Academic Qualification for Indian students
- CBSE & ISC Board: The students of CBSE & ISC board of India will generally be considered for direct entry onto undergraduate programmes with an overall average score of 85% or above.
- For state boards (expect Maharastra, Tamil Nadu and west Bengal State board): Minimum 75% in Class 12
- Eligibility Test: Appear in LNAT- National Admission Test for Law.
Reward
- At least 25 scholarships will be awarded to the 2016-17 cohort of students.
- Scholars will receive financial support of £5,000 per year for the duration of the degree programme to which they are admitted.
- Scholars will also receive complimentary King’s accommodation during the first year of their LLB programme.
- The students who receives the scholarship have to maintain at least an upper second average (60 % or more) each year during their studies.

To apply, all eligible candidates will need to fill in and submit a completed scholarship application form. the form contains all the instructions to be followed.

Essay: Applicants are also required to submit an essay of 500 words on the following topic:
"Please tell us about the single achievement of which you are most proud. Why does it make you so proud? Then tell us about a time when you failed in something that was important to you. Tell us what you learned from this experience."

Selection Process
The candidates will also be judged on the basis of
- Essay: The essay submitted by the applicant as part of his or her completed application form
- LNAT Score: The applicants LNAT multiple choice score.
