AIIMS MBBS Entrance Exam 2017 Notification and Dates have been announced. Applications are invited for All India Institute of Medical Sciences -AIIMS MBBS Entrance Exam 2017 for admission to the MBBS Course in AIIMS, New Delhi and six other AIIMS (Patna, Bhopal, Jodhpur, Bhubaneshwar, Rishikesh and Raipur).

Eligibility Criteria

• Candidates must be completed the age of 17 years on 31st December of the year of admission

• Academic Qualification: Candidates must be cleared 12th or equivalent exam from any recognized board with English, Physics, Chemistry and Biology subjects with securing minimum 60% marks for General & OBC candidates and 50% marks for SC/ST/OPH Candidates

• Candidates appearing in 12th or equivalent exam are also eligible to apply

MBBS Exam Pattern

• Date of Exam: 28th May 2017 (Sunday), at various centres all over the country; the entrance examination will be conducted only in online mode [Computer Based Test (CBT)] in two shifts (09.00 am to 12.00 pm and 03.00 pm to 06.30 pm)

• The test will be a computer based test

• The duration of the examination shall be 3 ½ hours

• Examination will have one paper consisting of 200 objective type (multiple choice and reason-assertion type) questions from Physics, Chemistry, Biology and General Knowledge

• Each correct response will get a score of 1 mark

• Each incorrect response will get a score of - 1⁄3 (minus-one-third)

• No credit will be given for the questions not answered or marked for review

Seat Reservation

• The seat reservation for different categories will be followed by 7.5% ST, 15% SC and 27% OBC, for Indian Nationals. 

• A 3% reservation for Orthopaedic Physically Handicapped shall be provided on horizontal basis

• Candidates are advised to visit the website http://mbbs.aiimsexams.org/#!  regularly for the Prospectus, detailed instruction and online registration etc. Any subsequent Addendum/Corrigendum / Updates/Information etc will only be uploaded on the website

• Mode of Payment - Through Credit Card/Debit Card/Net Banking

• The Online Registration Form for AIIMS, MBBS Entrance Examination-2017 is going to live from 24th January 2017 to 23rd February 2017 (05.00 PM)

• Before starting the Registration Form, aspirants are advised to get acquainted with the major activities so that while filling the online Registration Form they may be well versed with the processes

• The applicants need to visit the website http://mbbs.aiimsexams.org/#! to register for the examination.

• The applicants need to fill the details like name, qualification details, contact number, email id for registration, etc.

• The mode of payment of fee will be through Credit Card/Debit Card/Net Banking.

• Choice of Examination centre – The city for examination will be chosen by the applicants after submission of examination fees on first come- first-serve basis.

• The centre of examination once chosen and allotted will not be changed and any request in this regard will not be entertained.

• As the seats in respective cities are limited, applicants are advised to register themselves, make payment, choose city and submit their application format at the earliest without waiting for the last date, to avoid not getting the choice of city.

• Uploading of Photograph/Thumb/ Signature – Registration slip will be generated only after uploading of Photo/Thumb/Signature and all other details. Uploading Photo/Thumb/Signature that is not as per the instructions will lead to the rejection of applications.

• It is advised to keep the properly taken Photo/Thumb/Signature before filing the application form. The photograph taken by mobile phone camera will be rejected.

Payment of AIIMS MBBS Application Fees

The payment against the AIIMS MBBS Application Form is to be made in only Online mode. Applicants can pay the application fee in using the service of their convenience.

Only ONLINE Payment: Applicants have to pay their AIIMS MBBS Application Fee via:

Exam Centres

• All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) will be conducting the AIIMS MBBS Entrance Examination for the admission to MBBS course in AIIMS New Delhi and six other AIIMS (Patna, Bhopal, Jodhpur, Bhubaneshwar, Rishikesh and Raipur) on 28th May 2017 (Sunday)  in various centres all over the country.

• Entrance Examination will be conducted in Ahmedabad, Bangaluru, Bhopal, Bhubaneswar, Chandigarh, Chennai, Dehradun, Delhi, Guwahati, Hyderabad, Jammu, Jodhpur, Kochi, Kolkata, Lucknow, Mumbai, Patna, and Raipur.

• The language of the AIIMS MBBS question paper will either be in English or in Hindi, which is as per the choice of the candidate. This choice of language cannot be changed later at any stage of AIIMS Entrance Exam 2017.
