Programmes Offered at IICD

IICD offers the following programmes for the academic Session 2017-18

Under Graduate (UG) Professional Diploma Programme

• Soft Material Application: 25 Seats

• Hard Material Application: 25 Seats

• Fired Material Application: 25 Seats

• Fashion Design: 25 Seats

Duration: 4 years (8 semesters)

Note: IICD reserves the right to increase or decrease the number of seats in each specialization of UG Programmes.

Eligibility Criteria

• For Under Graduates (UG) Professional Diploma Programme: 10+2 from a recognised board of education; students appearing in the qualifying exam are eligible to apply.

• Candidates appearing for their qualifying exam can also apply; the admission will be provisional and subject to obtaining the defined eligibility latest by 31st October 2017

• For Foreign Nationals and NRI Candidates: The Foreign Nationals/NRI candidates seeking admission to IICD must have required qualifications similar or equivalent to that required for Indian candidates; the admission of Foreign Nationals/NRI candidates in various UG/PG/Certificate programmes of IICD is based on certain guidelines

• Medium of Instruction at IICD is English and all aspirants applying to IICD are expected to possess working knowledge of English language

• Reservation of Seats 25% of seats are reserved for students who are domicile residents of Rajasthan

Application Fees

• The Admission Process Fee for Indian Candidates is Rs 1500/- (Rs One Thousand Five Hundred only) and for NRI/Foreign National Candidates are Rs 3000/- (Rs Three Thousand only)

• The fee is non refundable

Entrance Test Centers

• Center, Ahmedabad, Delhi, Jaipur, Kolkata, Lucknow and Raipur

• The IICD Entrance Test will be conducted at six locations as mentioned. The candidate can indicate his/her choices of 3 (three) Test centers in order of preferences

Admit Card

• You will have to bring the print out of your Admit Card for entrance test along with self-attested recent passport size photographs firmly pasted on it. Admit card is essential for entrance in Examination Hall

• Admit Card will be mailed for eligible candidates only (refer IICD website) by 25th May 2017 on the candidates email id

• Last Date of Submission of Online Application Form: 23rd May 2017

• Entrance Test at Indian Institute of Crafts & Design, Jaipur: 28th May 2017 (Six Centres)

• Declaration of Result: 31st May 2017

• Last Date of Fee Submission: 09th June 2017

• Reporting for Registration and document verification: 03rd July 2017

• Commencement of new session: 04th July 2017
