Applications are invited by Tolani Maritime Institute, Pune for admission to full time Bachelor of Technology (B. Tech) in Marine Engineering and Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) in Nautical Science Programmes for the session commencing in August 2017.
Eligibility Criteria
For B. Tech/B.Sc. Programmes: The following criteria have to be met in order to be eligible for admission into the B.Tech. Marine Engineering degree programme at Tolani Maritime Institute:
Age
Minimum age of a candidate shall be 17 years. In accordance with Govt. of India guidelines, there is a two-year age relaxation for female candidates and girls born are eligible to apply
Qualifications
Candidates must have successfully completed the Senior Secondary Examination (10+2) or its equivalent with (a) at least 60% marks in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics (PCM), and (b) at least 50% marks in English in either Class X or Class XII
Those who are in Class 12th can fill the form leaving the space for class XII marks blank. The class XII marks are required to be intimated by fax or online as soon as the results are declared. Candidate will become ineligible in case he/she scores less than 60% marks in PCM and the Form fees in such cases will also be non-refundable.
Syllabus for TMISAT
The test is based on 11th and 12th CBSE standard Physics and Mathematics syllabus. As this is online objective type test, there are no previous year question banks available
- There are 60 questions altogether.
- There is a section with negative marking.
- The test is of 1 hr. duration.
Selection Criteria
Selection will be on the basis of Rank obtained in Indian Maritime University Common Entrance Test (IMU-CET 2017)
