Haryana Counselling for B.E./B.Tech. / B.Arch.| 2017

Department of Technical Education, Haryana invites applications for admission to B.E./B.Tech. / B.Arch. Courses for the Academic Year 2017-18.

Admissions for B.E/B.Tech. (Including candidates under Tuition Fee Waiver (TFW) scheme shall be made on the basis of the inter-se-merit of JEE (Main)-2017 through On-line Off- Campus counseling by NIC

Details


Two Counselings will be conducted for admission to all B.E/B.Tech for all the seats of Govt. / Govt. Aided & 75% seats of Self Financing Institutes only (for details about counseling, refer chapter 7) as follows :


  • 1st Counseling - shall be done for all categories namely AIC, HOGC, KM,TFW, SC, BC-A, BC-B, PH, ESM (with all priorities) and FF of all categories with 25% Horizontal Female reservation.
  • 2nd Counseling - shall be done for all categories namely AIC, HOGC, KM, TFW, SC, BC (by merging BCA and BCB in BC), PH and merging all ESM (all priorities) and FF with 25% Horizontal Female reservation.



After 2nd counseling no online counseling shall be conducted by HSTES and admission shall be made at Institute level counseling after merging the sub categories (including female) of a particular reserved category into the main reserved category.

Eligibility Criteria


Minimum Academic Qualifications for B.E. /B.Tech:


Should be a pass in 10+2 examination from recognized Board/University with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with one of the following subjects:


  • Chemistry
  • Bio-Technology
  • Biology/ Technical Vocational subject




For admission to B.E/B.Tech. (Bio-Technology):

The candidates should be a pass in 10+2 examination with Physics and Mathematics or Biology as compulsory subjects along with any one of the following subjects:

  • Chemistry
  • Bio-Tech.
  • Computer Science



Minimum Academic Qualifications for B.Arch:


  • 10+2 or equivalent from a recognized Board/University with 50% marks in Mathematics as a subjects of examination and also obtained at least 50% aggregate marks in 10+2 level examination.
  • Merit list shall be based on aggregate marks of 10+2 and NATA score in the ratio 50:50.
  • In order to pass NATA Test a candidate must obtain minimum of 40% marks.



Obtained at least 45% marks (42.75% in case of candidate belonging to SC category) in the above subjects taken together for B.E/B.Tech and B.E/B.Tech. (Bio-Technology) respectively.

Note: If there is any change in minimum academic qualification in terms of percentage in aggregate for private institute for the session 2017-18, it will be incorporated at the time of counseling.


Selection Procedure


For B.E./B.Tech


  • The Basis of admission for B.E/B.Tech is inter-se-merit of combined merit of JEE Main-2017 conducted by CBSE, New Delhi.



For B.E./B.Tech (Bio-Technology)


  • Admission during centralized counseling shall be made on the basis of the inter-se-merit of JEE-MAIN-2017. Remaining unfilled/ vacant seats of centralized counseling shall be filled by the institute, firstly by the candidates who have studied only Biology and thus could not take JEE MAIN exam. 
  • Inter-se merit for such candidates shall be calculated on the basis of marks of Physics, Biology, Chemistry/ Bio-Tech/ Computer Science.



List of documents to be filled at the time of reporting in the institute



  • Qualifying Examination i.e.10+2/Intermediate/Senior Secondary School Examination.
  • Matriculation/ High School Certificate.
  • JEE(Main) – 2017 rank card / NATA Score Card
  • Character Certificate

How to Apply



  • Candidates of KM, TFW & HGST categories of B.E/B.Tech course are required to fill online application form on www.onlinetesthry.gov.in. He / She will get unique application number after submission of online application form. The unique application form number may be used by the candidate for any correspondence with HSTES, Panchkula.
  • The candidates applying for B.E./B.Tech (KM, TFW and HGST) shall take a printout of online filled Application form from the website: www.onlinetesthry.gov.in and deposit the same in the office of HSTES, Bays no. 7-12, Sector-4, Panchkula before the closing date as per “IMPORTANT DATES” along with the attested copies of relevant documents



Payment of Application Fee


Application fee for KM, TFW and HGST category of B.E./B.Tech shall be deposited by the candidate through e-Challan generated from www.onlinetesthry.gov.in during filling the online application form or through Credit/Debit Card or Netbanking by using online payment gateway during filling the online application form. Incase of E-Challan, the candidate shall take print out of e-Challan and shall deposit on the next day of generation of the e-Challan in any branch of following designated banks:


  • Punjab National Bank
  • Axis Bank


Application fee: Rs. 200/- for KM, TFW & HGST Category

The Application Fee once paid shall not be refunded (full or partial) under any circumstances. The service charges will be charged from payer for using online payment gateway.


Important Dates



  • Submission of Application from along with relevant documents: Upto 8th June 2017 (Tent.)
  • Display of merit list: 9th July 2017 onwards
  • Online Registration for counseling, Filling of choices, changing of choices and locking of choices at www.techadmissionshry.gov.in: 15 June 2017 to 19th jun 2017 for I counselling and 30th June 2017 to 4th july 2017 fro II Counselling



Important Information



  • Counseling dates are tentative, please visit HSTES websites regularly for revised key dates. However, final cut-off date of admissions is 15.08.2017 
  • Admissions in TFW category in B.Tech shall be on the basis of Merit/ Rank of JEE Main-2017.
  • Candidates applying for TFW, KM and HGST Categories in B.Tech, must deposit the Merit Calculation form /
  • Application Form along with relevant documents in the office of HSTES, Bays No. 7-12, Sector-4, Panchkula by due date.
