The Purpose of conducting a series of such periodical tests is to ignite students’ interest in pursuing accurate knowledge and to prepare them for competitive skills, such as CAT, GATE, GRE, TOEFL and various other tests for admission to higher studies in good institutes as wells

Eligibility criteria

·       NEST-I: The First and Second Year Degree students of Engineering/MBBS/BAMS/BHMS/BUMS/BDS/12th (Science), BCA and BSC (all)/Diploma Engg (only Final Year)

NEST-II: Third and Fourth Year Degree: Engineering/MBBS/BAMS/BHMS/BUMS/BDS/BCA and BSC (only Computer and IT)

Not Eligible to Participate: Anyone who top the list in a category cannot apply again in the same category

Application fees

NEST-I: 600/- (Rupees Six Hundred only)
NEST-II: 700/- (Rupees Seven Hundred only)

Selection process

1. The merit-based scholarship is given on the basis of a two-hour online test of 200 questions
2. Certification of appreciation shall be awarded to all the candidates who score 40% and above in aggregate of all the five sections in the test
3. Students from registered colleges are eligible for this scholarship

Reward

For NEST-I: 10 or more scholarships of Rs. 30,000/- each with Rs 75,000/- to Rank 1
For NEST-II: 10 or more scholarships of Rs. 40,000/- each with Rs 1,00,000/- to Rank 1
