Applications are invited by Delhi Pharmaceutical Sciences and Research University (DPSRU), New Delhi for Admission to Bachelor of Pharmacy (B.Pharm), lateral entry to B.Pharm, Master of Pharmacy (M.Pharm), Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Pharmaceutical Management and Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D) Programs for the session 2016


Courses Offered

All the Courses are co-educational. All the Exam and admissions will be conducted by DPSRU
DPSR University is a State University of the Govt. of NCT of Delhi and DIPSAR (which was earlier affiliated by University of Delhi) is now, a constituent college of the DPSR University
They both operate out of the same campus located in Pushp Vihar (in South Delhi)

  • B. Pharm. (Bachelor of Pharmacy) - 1st year (8 Semesters) [Intake Capacity: 60 Seats]
  • B. Pharm. (2nd year Lateral Entry) - 3 years [Intake Capacity: As per AICTE guidelines]
  • D. Pharm. (Diploma in Pharmacy) - 2 years (+500 hrs internship) [Intake Capacity: 100 Seats]
  • M. Pharm. (4 years) in Pharmacology; Pharmaceutics (05 Seats); Drug Ragulatory Affairs (05 Seats), Quality Assurance (05 Seats), Pharmaceutical Chemistry (05 Seats), Clinical Research (05 Seats), Phytochemistry & Pharmacognosy (05 Seats)
  • Name of the Course in Centre of Pharmaceutical Sciences (DPSRU)
  • B. Pharm. (Bachelor of Pharmacy) (8 Semesters) [Intake Capacity: 60 Seats]
  • BPT (Bachelor of Physiotherapy) - 4.5 (including internship) [Intake Capacity: 50 Seats]


Eligibility Criteria


  • Eligibility Criteria for Bachelor of Pharmacy (1st year): Senior School Certificate Exam of the Central Board of Secondary Education, New Delhi (12 year Course) or the Indian School Exam with 60% or above marks* in aggregate in the three Science subjects (Physics, Chemistry and Biology) from Recogniszed Schools in the Union Territory of Delhi (or)

  • Age Requirement: No Candidate shall be qualified for admission to the course below 17 years of age before the first day of October, of the year he/ she seeks admission. The candidates born on/or before 30th September, 1999 are eligible to apply


Any other exam (12 year course) recogniszed by Indian University or Board with minimum of 60% marks* in the aggregate of the compulsory subjects namely, Physics, Chemistry and Biology
Candidates who have been awarded grades in the exam which make them eligible for admission should also submit conversion certificate of numerical marks from the concerned authority
*5% relaxation for SC/ST students


  • Eligibility Criteria for Bachelor of Physiotherapy: Senior School Certificate Exam of the Central Board of Secondary Education, New Delhi (12 year Course) or the Indian School Exam with 60% or above marks* in aggregate in the three Science subjects (Physics, Chemistry and Biology) from Recognized Schools in the National Capital Territory of Delhi

  • Age Requirement: No Candidate shall be qualified for admission to the course below 17 years of age before the first day of October, of the year he/ she seeks admission. The candidates born on/or before 30th September, 1999 are eligible to apply

Any other exam (12 year course) recognized by Indian University or Board with minimum of 60% marks* in the aggregate of the compulsory subjects namely, Physics, Chemistry and Biology
Intermediate exam in science with 60% and above marks* in aggregate in the three Science subjects (Physics, Chemistry and Biology) (or)
*5% relaxation for SC/ST students


Basis of Selection


First 15% of the total seats will be filled by Non-Delhi candidates with valid GPAT score and completed B. Pharm. Exam with 60% from recogniszed University

Remaining 85% of the total seats will be filled by graduates passed out Delhi colleges/universities with valid GPAT score in order of preference of disciplines


a) 50% weightage for marks in theory II, III and IV yrs
b) 50% weightage for GPAT score


In each branch first 15% seats for non-Delhi students - 100% GPAT score will be the criteria. In case of more than one candidate with the same score, preference will be given to the candidate who is older in age
Age Requirement: Candidates seeking admission to M. Pharm. Course must be more than 21 years of age before the 1st day of October, in which he/ she seeks admission. Candidates born on or before 30th September 1995 are eligible to apply
Allied Health Sciences Programs: Candidate seeking admission to the Master of Hospital Management and Master of Public Health must have passed the B. Pharm./MBBS/ BDS/ BHMS/ BUMS/ BAMS Exam with at least 60% of marks in the aggregate



How to Apply



In order to apply for admission to the Pharmacy Courses of DIPSAR, candidates will be required to fill in application form. The application form for DIPSAR Admission 2016 will be available 23rd June 2016.

Forms can be downloaded from the website and needs to be sent to the Officiating Registrar, DPSRU attached with all the necessary documents along with Rs.100/- Demand Draft in favor of Registrar, Delhi Pharmaceutical Science and Research University by Speed Post within the closing date of form submission

Candidates can access online at our website www.dpsru.edu.in. They are also required to submit printed copy of online registration form with application fee on or before 23rd June 2016
