NIIT University (NU), Alwar has invited applications for admissions to four-year Bachelors of Technology (B.Tech) programme for the session 2016-18. NIIT University Alwar BTech Admission Notification 2016 has been announced.

NU offers admission for its B.Tech Program via two modes:

(1) Early Admission Mode (EAD Round 1 & EAD Round 2)

(2) Regular Admission Mode (RAD Round 1 & RAD Round 2)

NU offered to applicants who are appearing for their Class XII Board Examinations in March-April 2016 as also to those who have taken their Class XII Board Exam not earlier than March-April 2014

NU offers the following streams under the B.Tech Program: Biotechnology (BT), Computer Science and Engineering (CSE) and Electronics and Communication Engineering (ECE)

Eligibility Criteria

The applicant should have filled the early admission form by the specified date

Application should have scored 60% marks or equivalent in grades in Class X from CBSE/ICSE/any other board in India or its equivalent from any other country in five subjects (four compulsory subjects are English, Mathematics, Science and Social study)

Fifth subject, for all Boards in India or its equivalent from any other country, can be any single high scoring subject) 60% marks or equivalent in grade in Class X

Candidates should be appearing for Class XII Board Examination with Physics, Chemistry and Biology (PCB) or PCM or PCMB as subjects for (BT) stream in Mar/Apr 2016 or should possess the score of Class XII Board examination from year 2014 or 2015

Have a minimum score of 60% in Class XII Board exam

Admission Procedure

Interested in seeking admissions in NU under the Admissions Mode (EAD/RAD) to either the B.Tech or the B.Tech-M.Tech Integrated Dual Degree Program has to follow the procedure given below:

Step 1: Download the admission application form www.niituniversity.in or obtain it from any of the designated Admission Offices of NU; the Application fee can be paid either online or by cash or by crossed demand draft in favor of NIIT University, payable at New Delhi

Step 2: Submit the duly completed admission application form along with all the required documents, using any of the following modes:

i. Online at our website: www.niituniversity.in; attach scanned copies of all the required documents as specified in the application form

ii. Courier the printed copy of the form by post to the NU Central Admissions Office at NIIT House, 85, Sector 32, Institutional Area, Gurgaon, Haryana-122001

Step 3: Schedule your PCI online by selecting the PCI location closest to you and the time slot most convenient for you. In case you need assistance to schedule the PCI, please contact the admissions office

Step 4: Candidates must have appeared in JEE-Main or BITSAT or SAT or Any State Engineering Entrance Exam or NUET (NIIT University Engineering Test) as a part of selection process

Step 5: The eligible applicants undergo the PCI (Personal Counseling Interaction) either face-to-face or through video conferencing on the day and time selected by them

Step 6: Selected candidates should submit the acceptance Letter duly signed by them and their parent/guardian within 5 working days of receiving the letter along with a non-refundable acceptance cum admission processing 
fee:

a) INR 20,000 under EAD-Round 1
b) INR 25,000 under EAD-Round 2, RAD-Round 1&2

Step 7: Students join the University campus on July 14th /15th, 2016 & start with the ‘Head Start program’ and complete the first registration formalities including submission of original mark-sheet of Class X and XII; the program starts on July 16, 2016

For Regular Admission Dates (RAD):

• Application Start Date: 05th October 2015

• Last Date of Submission of Applications Round-1: 30th June 2016 and Round-2: 07th August 2016

• Personal Counseling Interaction (PCI): Within 7 days of application

• Submit class XII Admit Card copy by 28th February 2016

• Intimate Class XII Results By: 05th June 2016

• Date of Enrollment (Round 1): By 24th May and 01st June 2016

• Date of Enrollment (Round 2): By 05 days of receiving the offer letter

• Registration & Program Commencement: Round-1: 14th & 15th July 2016 and Round-2: 12th August 2016
