Dayananda Sagar Admission Test 2017 is conducted by Dayananda Sagar University (DSU), Bangalore for admission to UG and PG Courses like B.Tech, B.Pharma, BCA, BBA, B.Com, BA Journalism, for the academic year 2017-18.

Eligibility Criteria




  • B.Pharm (Bachelor of Pharmacy): Applicants who have passed two year PUC examination of Karnataka PUC board or an equivalent examination of any other approved Board or University with not less than 40% marks in any combination comprising PCM or PCB (minimum eligibility should be based on the aggregate of PCM or PCB) or PCMB, PC and Computer Science, PC and Electronics
  • B.Tech (Bachelor of Technology): Applicants should have Pass in PUC/CBSE / ISCE/10+2 or equivalent examination with Physics & Mathematics as compulsory subjects and a minimum of 45% (for SC/ST 40%) marks aggregate in Physics, Mathematics and any one of the following subjects: Chemistry/Biology/Biotechnology/Computer Science/Electronics and English as a compulsory subject
  • BCA (Bachelor of Computer Applications): Pass in PUC/CBSE/ISCE/10+2 or equivalent examination. + DSAT Examination
  • BBA (Bachelor of Business Administration): Pass in PUC/CBSE/ISCE/10+2 or equivalent examination. + DSAT Examination
  • B.A Journalism: Merit in PUC/CBSE/ISCE/10+2 or Equivalent Examination + DSAT Entrance Test
  • B.Com (Bachelor of Commerce): Pass in PUC/CBSE/ISCE/10+2 or equivalent examination. + DSAT Examination
  • B.Sc. (Bachelor of Science): Passed in PUC / CBSE/ ICSE or equivalent examination with Chemistry as one of the compulsory subjects in the qualifying examination with 45% marks in aggregate
  • Pharm.D: Pass in any of the following examinations-10+2/PUC or equivalent examination with Physics and Chemistry as compulsory subjects along with one of the following subjects: Mathematics or Biology
  • BPT (Bachelor’s in Physiotherapy): Pass in PUC/CBSE/ISCE/10+2 or equivalent examination with a minimum of 40% marks aggregate in PCB with English as one of the languages



How to Apply


Applicants applying online for the various courses at Dayananda Sagar University (DSU) are required to apply only through the DSU website www.dsu.edu.in

No other means/mode of application will be accepted for DSAT


  • Before proceeding to filling up the Online Application, the applicants should have scanned image of their (a) Photograph and (b) Signature in CD/DVD/Pen drive as per their convenience. These documents will be required for uploading and submission of your Online Application.
  • A valid E-mail and Mobile Number is mandatory for the registration of your Online Application. This E-Mail and Mobile number should be kept active till the declaration of results. DSU will send important information with regard to your application and examination on this registered E-Mail/Mobile number
  • After receiving your User ID and Password on mail you will not be able to edit certain fields of the Online Application. Applicants are hence requested to fill in the online application form with the utmost care as no correspondence regarding change of details will be entertained
