Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO) of the United Nations is organizing World Food Day Poster Contest.


The contest is open for all schools & students wordlwide but the age of participating students need to be between 5 to 17 years

Eligibility Criteria


Nationality: The United Nations’ World Food Day Poster Contest 2015 is open for Global Participants.


Age: The applicants need to belong to the age group of 5 to 17 years.


Participation: The participation is open for all schools and students worldwide.





Application Mode and Process



The application process for United Nations World Food Day Poster Contest 2015 is online and the details of the application process are as follow:

Specification of the Poster:


Theme: The poster should be based on the theme ‘Social Protection and agriculture: breaking the cycle of rural poverty’.


The poster can be designed, drawn or painted.


Submission: To complete the submission for the United Nations World Food Day Poster Contest 2015, the scanned image of the poster can be uploaded while filling the application form.


Size: Maximum 1.5 MB


Format: JPG




Reward


The winners of the United Nations’ World Food Day Poster Contest 2015 will be eligible for the following prizes:


Medals: Commemorative medal from FAO will be given to all the winners as it celebrates its 70th Anniversary.


Expo Display: The top 3 winners from each category will be showcased in the multimedia UN Zero Hunger Itinerary at Expo Milano.


Online Display: The winning posters will be displayed on the FAO World Food Day website.
