Eligibility Criteria
- Age: Candidates should have completed the age of 17 years at the time of admission or should complete the said age on or before December 31 of the said year.
- Candidate should be born or before December 31, 1999.
- Candidates should have passed the qualifying examination equivalent to 10+2 Higher Secondary period of 12 years of study, the last two years of study comprising of Physics, Chemistry and Biology with English.

- Students have to apply online only for admission to MBBS at CMC Vellore. There is no offline application process. Candidates can either apply in the sponsored category or through open category.
- Candidates who have applied under the sponsorship category and are not eligible for that category will be considered under the Open Category.
Application Fee
Application Fee for MBBS/B.Sc Nursing & AHS Degree Course: Rs. 1300 for Indian Nationals
- Administrative Fee- Rs. 800
- Registration Fee- Rs. 500 per course
Selection process
Selection is based on merit and consists of two stages
- Stage 1 will consist of a Computer Based Test- A test consisting of multiple choice questions is conducted in English on an All India basis.(Exam Pattern for the Computer based test is given below)
- Candidates who write the All India Entrance Test on May 20, 2016 and are short listed for Stage-2 will be intimated by letter sent by email/Speed Post around the first week of June.
Total Number of seats: 100 seats per year of which not less than 42 shall be women
Exam pattern
- It will be a computer based test and students will be provided sheets for rough work purpose. Sample mock test papers will be available on CMC Vellore website in March 2016
- Each Question will have five options to choose from and correct answers will be given one mark and there will be no negative marking.

- Biology - 60 Questions
General Ability including Speed & Accuracy
- Section 1 - 60 Questions
- Section 2 - 60 Questions
- Total - 300 Questions
