- Medical Imaging Technology (B.Sc MIT)
- Medical Laboratory Technology (B.Sc MLT)
- Medical Radiotherapy Technology (B.Sc MRT)
- B.Sc Nuclear Medicine Technology (B.Sc NMT)
- Occupational Therapy (BOT)
- Perfusion Technology (B.PFT)
- Physiotherapy (BPT)
- Respiratory Therapy (B.Sc RT)
- Renal Replacement Therapy and Dialysis Technology (B.Sc RRT & DT)
Course Duration:
- BPT & BOT – 4 years plus 6 months of Internship
- BASLP, B.Sc MIT, B.Sc MLT, B.Sc CVT, B.Sc RT, B.Optom, B.PFT – 3 years plus one year of Internship
- B.Sc NMT – 3 years plus DNMT – 1 year
- B.Sc MRT – 3 years plus one year of Internship. Diploma in Radio Technology holders with more than 3 years will be exempted from the internship
- B.Sc RRT & DT – 3 years plus one year of Internship
- B.Sc HIA – 3 years
Eligibility
- Citizenship: Indian Nationals
- Qualification: Pass in 10+2, A Level, IB, American 12th Grade or equivalent with:
- Physics, Chemistry, English and Biology for admission to BPT/BOT/BSc MIT/BSc MLT/B.Sc CVT/B.Sc RT/B.Sc NMT/B.Sc RRT & DT/B.PFT with a minimum of 50% marks taken together in Physics, Chemistry and Biology
- Physics, Chemistry and English with Biology or Mathematics as optional subjects for admission to BASLP/BOptom, with a minimum of 50% marks taken together in Physics, Chemistry, and any one of the optional subjects
- Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, and English for admission to B.Sc MRT, with a minimum of 50% marks in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics taken togather
- Any Science/Arts/Commerce groups for admission to B.Sc HIA with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate
General Category
- BPT/BOT/B.Sc MIT/B.Sc MLT/B.Sc CVT/B.Sc RT/B.Sc NMT/B.Sc RRT & DT/B.PFT: Admissions are done on the basis of marks obtained in Physics, Chemistry and Biology in the qualifying examination
- BASLP/Boptom: Admissions are done on the basis of marks obtained in Physics, Chemistry and Biology or Mathematics in the qualifying examination
- B.Sc MRT: Admissions are done on the basis of marks obtained in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics in the qualifying exam
- B.Sc HIA: Admissions are done on the basis of total marks obtained in the qualifying examination
Foreign/NRI Category
- Admissions are done on the basis of marks obtained in the qualifying exam
- Candidates can apply both under General and Foreign/NRI Category. Change of category from Foreign/NRI to General after admissions will not be entertained under any circumstances
Entrance Test Pattern
- There is no Entrance Test for this course
- Merit List: Based on the marks obtained in Physics, Chemistry, Biology or Mathematics at 10+2, Manipal University will declare a list of candidates in the order of merit on or before 20th July 2016 in the website
- They will be considered for admission to BOptom or BASLP or BSc MRT course against these ranks. In case of two or more candidates obtaining equal marks in the merit list, the inter-se merit of such candidates will be determined respectively on the basis of English marks and total marks at the qualifying exam. A separate merit list based on total marks at 10+2 will be displayed for BSc HIA course
- A separate merit list based on the marks obtained in PCMB with English as a compulsory subject at 10+2 will be displayed for BHSc course
