Gitam Science Admission Test GSAT 2016 Notification and Dates have been announced. Gitam University Vishakhapatnam invites application for admission to Undergraduate and Postgraduate Science Programmes commencing in the session 2016-17

GSAT 2016 will be held at various centres in Andhra Pradesh and other parts of India.

The UG/PG Science Programs are offered by Eight Departments of the Institute of Science located in Vishakhapatnam Campus; the course curricula of the programs are carefully designed to impart wide knowledge in the respective areas of specializations, suitable for placements in reputed organizations and for higher studies within and outside the country




Programs Offered


Undergraduate and 5-years Integrated Programs
  • BCA (Bachelor of Computer Application)
  • BEM (Bachelor of Environmental Management)
  • B.Sc (Bachelor of Science)*
  • Integrated M.Sc in Biotechnology; Integrated M.Sc in Chemistry (Sponsored by Laurus Labs)


Eligibility


For BCA & BEM

Requirement for admission to the above programs is a minimum aggregate of 50% marks in-group (optional) subjects in the qualifying examination


Candidates who have already passed qualifying exam or who have appeared/are appearing for the final examinations in 2016 are eligible


For B.Sc

Requirement for admission to the B.Sc programs is a minimum aggregate of 50% marks in-group (optional) subjects in the qualifying examination (PCM or PCB)

Anantapur, Kakinada, Tirupathi, Bhubaneswar, Patna, Bhimavaram, Khammam, Vijayawada, Dhanbad, Pune, Eluru, Kurnool, Visakhapatnam, Guwahati, Raipur, Guntur, Ongole, Warangal, Jamshedpur, Rayagada, Hyderabad, Rajahmundry, Bengaluru, Kolkata, Siliguri, Kadapa, Srikakulam, Berhampur, Nagpur and Varanasi






Selection Procedure


Selection is based on the performance of candidates in GITAM Science Admission Test (GSAT-2016) to be held at various centers in Andhra Pradesh and other parts of India





How to Apply





Candidates can download the application form from GITAM website www.gitam.edu


Applications can be obtained by post, from Principal, GITAM Institute of Science by sending a request on plain paper giving the candidate’s name with complete mailing address, accompanied by Demand Draft for Rs.350/- (inclusive of Test fee Rs.300/-) drawn in favour of GITAM University payable at Visakhapatnam on any scheduled bank


Request by post will be accepted till 21st April 2016


The test fee for Five year Integrated M.Sc Chemistry sponsored by Laurus Labs is Rs.500/-


Filled in applications along with attested copies of the following certificates and the prescribed fee of Rs.300/- or Rs.500/- as the case may be should reach the Principal, GITAM Institute of Science, Gitam University, Rushikonda, Visakhapatnam-530045, A.P., India on or before 02nd May 2016

  • Last Date for Obtaining Application Form from Office: 21st April 2016
  • Last Date for Receiving Application Form: 02nd May 2016 (Monday)
  • Date of Exam (GSAT-2016): 09th May 2016 (Monday)
  • Date of Announcement of Results: 16th May 2016 (Monday)
