Applications are invited from eligible candidates for Sikkim Manipal Institute of Technology SMIT Entrance Exam for BCA,BBA and B.Tech 2016. 

Sikkim Manipal Institute of Technology (SMIT), Rangpo has announced notification for admission to 3 years Bachelor of Computer Application (BCA) and Master of Computer Application BCA,BBA and B.Tech

Eligibility Criteria

• For BCA Program: Candidate should have passed in 10+2/equivalent with 50% marks in any stream

• For BBA Program: Candidate should have passed in 10+2/equivalent with 50% marks in any stream

• B.Tech (ECE, CSE, EEE, IT, ME, CE): 10+2/equivalent with 50% marks in PCM

• Integrated M.Sc @ (IT, CS, Software, Networking, Embedded Systems): 10+2/equivalent with 50% marks in PCM

• BS(Engg.) (Twinning): 10+2/equivalent with 50% marks in PCM

Selection Procedure

• For BCA Program: Entrance Test by SMU at SBAS/SMIT

• For BBA Program: Direct admissions within 10 August, 2016 (first come first serve basis)

• B Tech (ECE, CSE, EEE, IT, ME, CE): Entrance Test:   SMIT Offline Test , JEE or  MU-OET

• Integrated M.Sc @ (IT, CS, Software, Networking, Embedded Systems): Entrance Test:   SMIT Offline Test , JEE or  MU-OET

• BS(Engg.) (Twinning): Entrance Test:   SMIT Offline Test , JEE or  MU-OET

If downloaded from the website www.manipal.edu then you are supposed to send a Demand Draft of Rs.1350/- (Rs 600/- for prospectus + Rs.750/- for entrance exam fee) along with the filled application form to the chairman admissions (technical campus)

If collected from the bank then you are supposed to send a DD of Rs.750/- (entrance exam fee) along with the filled application form to the chairman admissions (technical campus)

Important Dates

• Last Date for Receipt of duly filled Application Form: 10th August 2016 (Wednesday)

• Last date for receipt of duly filled application forms for SMIT offline Test  - 2016:        14 May 2016

• Date of Entrance Test for BCA Program: 27th June and 04th August 2016

• Date of Entrance Test for BBA Program: Direct admissions within 10 August, 2016 (first come first serve basis)

• Date of Entrance Test for B.Tech Program:15 May 2016

• Publication of SMIT Offline Test Result (refer www.smu.edu.in) : 25 May 2016
