SRM University Haryana Common Admission Test (SRMHCAT) 2016 Notification and Dates have been announced.  SRM University Haryana (Sonepat) invites applications for admission to UG and PG Programsthrough SRMHCAT 2016 Entrance Exam for the academic year of 2016-17.

Eligibility Criteria

• B.Tech Programs: Candidates must have passed 12th standard or equivalent examination, recognized by state or central education board. The candidates who have appeared for 12th standard in 2016 and awaiting result can also appear in the examination

• B.Com/B.Com (Hons)*/BBA: Candidate must have passed 12th Standard or an equivalent examination, recognized by State or Central Education Board. The candidates who have appeared for 12th Standard in 2016 and awaiting result can also appear in the exam Candidate must have taken five subjects in 12th Standard. He/she must have studied two papers from amongst Accountancy Business Studies, Economics & Mathematics with 50% marks in aggregate

• BBA.LL.B (Int.)/B.A.LL.B (Int)/B.Lib.I.Sc/BBA-MBA (Int.):  Candidate must have passed 12th Standard or an equivalent examination, recognized by State or Central Education Board and must have obtained 50% marks in aggregate. The candidates who have appeared for 12th Standard in 2016 and awaiting result can also appear in the exam

Exam Pattern

• SRMHCAT will consists of 100 questions carrying 300 marks; the correct answer for each question will carrying 03 marks

• There is no negative marking. The medium of language for question papers will be English only

• SRMHCAT will be conducted in both Offiline (Pen and Paper based Examination) and Online (Computer Based Examination)

• For B.Com, MBA (Integrated) B.LIS, M.A (English) and M.LIS Courses entrance examination would be conducted only by offline mode

• For MBA & M.Tech Courses entrance examination would be conducted online by online mode

Candidates can apply for SRMHCAT by any of Online and Offline mode

• Offline Mode: Candidate can purchase the application form for SRMHCAT 2016 from the following Approved sale centers by making a payment of Rs.950/- (Nine hundred and fifty only) either as cash or as Demand Draft in favour of SRMIST payable at New Delhi

• Online Mode: Online Application is to be submitted through SRMUH website www.srmuniversity.ac.in. The aspiring candidates should furnish all the details and upload scanned image of his/her photograph and signature while filling up the "Online" Application

Candidates are required to take a print out of e-computer generated acknowledgement slip after successful submission of data and payment of fees and keep the same in the safe custody for any future reference
