Sumandeep Vidyapeeth University has invited applications for AIUGCET 2016 i.e. All India UG Common Entrance Test for admission to MBBS, BDS, BPT, B.Sc, PBB.Sc (N), B.Pharm and Pharm D. courses 2016. The AIUGCET 2016 Medical Entrance Exam shall be the basis on which admission in various UG Medical Programmes are offered in the Sumandeep Vidyapeeth (Deemed to be University)

Courses Offered

The Entrance Test is to be conducted for the MBBS/BDS/BPT/BSc/PBBSc (N)/B.Pharm/PharmD

Constituent Colleges are as under:

(i) SBKS Medical institute & Research Centre is recognized by the MCI for MBBS & MS/MD Program

(ii) KM Shah Dental College & Hospital is recognized by the DCI for BDS & MDS Program

(iii) The Association of Physiotheraphy recognises College of Physiotherapy for BPT & MPT Progam

(iv) Sumandeep Nursing College is recognized by the Indian Nursing Council & Gujarat Nursing Council for B.Sc (Nursing); M.Sc (Nusrsing) and ANM-GNM-P.B.B.Sc (Nursing) Programs

(v) Dept of Pharmacy is recognized by the Pharmacy Council of India for B.Pharm; M.Pharm and Pharm.D (6 years PG Intergrated) Program

(vi) Master of Business Administration is recognized by the UGC for MBA (Health Care) Program

The Admission Committee of the Sumandeep Vidyapeeth is responsible for conducting the entrance test, declaration of results, counselling and final admission to the respective program

Eligibility Criteria 

• For MBBS & BDS Program

i. He/she shall complete the age of 17 years on or before 31st December 2016, of the year of admission to the MBBS & BDS

ii. He/she has passed qualifying exam as under:

(a) The Higher Secondary Exam or the Indian School Certificate Exam, which is equivalent to 10+2 Higher Secondary Exam after a period of 12 years study, the last two years of study comprising of Physics, Chemistry, Biology and Mathematics or any other elective subject with English at a level not less than the core course for English as prescribed by the National Committee on education

• For B.Sc (N) Program

Candidates should have 10+2 class passed with Science (PCB) & English Core/English Elective with aggregate of 45% marks form recognized board under AISSCE/CBSE/ICSE/SSCE/HSCE or other equivalent Board. Student shall be medically fit

Students appearing in 10+2 exam in Science conducted by National Institute of open School with 45% marks, students shall be admitted once in a year

The minimum age for admission shall be 17 years on 31st December 2016 of the year in which admission is sought

• For Post Basic B.Sc Nursing Program

Nursing: Should have qualified in Diploma in Nursing and be a registered Nurse and Mid-wife in the State Nursing Council accepted by the authority of this University

Physical Fitness Certificate: Every candidate before admission to the course shall submit to the Principal of the Institution a certificate of medical fitness form an authorised medical officer that the candidate is physically fit to undergo the academic course and does not suffer from any disability or contagious diseases

• For Pharmacy (B.Pharm):

A pass in any of the following Exams with Physics, Chemistry and Biology or Mathematics recognized by Indian Board/University or its equivalent;

(i) Intermediate Exam in Science; (ii) 10+2 Exam (academic stream) in Science; (iii) Pre-degree Exam in Science

• For Pharm.D Program

Pharm.D Part-I Course: A pass in any of the following Examinations:

(i) Candidate must have passed 10+2 Exam with Physics and Chemistry as compulsory subjects along with one of the following subjects: Mathematics or Biology

(ii) A pass in D.Pharm course from an institution approved by the Pharmacy Council of India under section 12 of the Pharmacy Act

(iii) Any other qualification approved by the Pharmacy Council of India as equivalent to any of the above exams

Provided that a student should complete the age of 17 years on or before 31st December 2016 of the years of admission

• For BPT Program

Candidate must have passed Higher Secondary Certificate Exam under 10+2 education patterns taking with Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English or equivalent exam with 50% aggregate marks

Eligible candidate should have completed the age 17 years by 31st December 2016 of the year of his/her joining the college

Selection Procedure

The selection of the candidates will be done on the basis of inter-se-merit of the candidate taking into consideration the preference given by the candidate and availability of seat in the branch/discipline of his/her choice when it is his/her turn for counseling

• Tie Breaker

In case of equal marks at AIUGCET 2016 Inter-se-merit of the candidates will be determined by applying following tiebreakers rules:Attempts; a candidate securing Higher Percentage of marks in the 12th exam i.e. PCB with Practical, with English; or Marks of 10th Science

Exam Pattern for AIUGCET-2016

The AIUGCET 2016 will be of three hours duration having 200 multiple choice questions (MCQs). Questions will be of single best response objective type with four options. Each correct answer will be awarded one mark

There shall be No Negative Marking for incorrect answers. The Medium of Exam will be English

Entrance Test Centres

The AIUGCET-2016 Shall be conducted at the following Cities: Piparia (Vadodara), Mumbai, New Delhi, Jaipur, New Delhi, Indore and Bangalore

• Candidate who desires to appear for All India UG common Entrance Test of Sumandeep Vidyapeeth will require to submit an application in the prescribed form along with attested copies of the documents in support of application

• Application should be submitted along with all necessary documents and with DD of Rs.2600/- in favor of Sumandeep Vidyapeeth, Vadodara as the cost of an Application From

Fees Details

• Price of Brochure and Form: Rs.600/-

• Entrance Test Fee: Rs.2000/-

• Late Fee: 500/-

The fee is payable by cash or demand draft, drawn in favour of Sumandeep Vidyapeeth of nationalized/ schedule bank, payable at Vadodara

Hall Ticket

Hall Tickets carrying photograph of the candidate shall be issued to the candidates who is eligible to appear for the entrance test, for this purpose the candidate must submit two copy of recent passport size photograph (not more than three months old) along with the application form
