Courses

• 3 years Bachelor of Science (B.Sc) in Biotechnology, Microbiology

• 2 years Master of Science (M.Sc) in Biotechnology, Microbiology and Bioinformatics

Eligibility Criteria

For B.Sc Program in Biotechnology and Microbiology: Candidates must pass in higher secondary examination or its equivalent is mandatory with 60% marks in Physics, Chemistry and Biology/Biotechnology taken together

For M.Sc Bioinformatics Program: Cadidates must have graduation in any discipline of Science including Mathematics, Engineering or Medicine. Background in Mathematics or Computer Science is preferred

For M.Sc Microbiology & Biotechnology Programs: Candidates must have graduation in any discipline of Biological Sciences, Engineering (Biotechnology), Medicine or Equivalent with background in Biology

Selection Procedure

For admissions performance in the following are taken into account

For B.Sc Programs

• Qualifying higher Secondary or equivalent Board Examination
• Counselling at Amrita School of Biotechnology

For M.Sc Programs

• Qualifying Undergraduate Examination
• Evaluation at Amrita School of Biotechnology
• Personal Interview at Amrita School of Biotechnology
