IPU Admission 2016 Bachelor of Architecture (B.Arch.)

GGSIPU Admission Notice 2016. Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University (GGSIPU), New Delhi has initiated the admission process to the various courses on the basis of IPU CET 2016. Every year, IPU CET exam is conducted for granting admission to students in various UG, PG, courses in the fields of Engineering (B.Tech), Architecture, Management, Medical(MBBS/BDS), Humanities etc.




Eligibility Criteria



B.Arch


  • Pass in 12th Class of 10+2 pattern of CBSE or equivalent with a minimum aggregate of 50% marks in with Mathematics as a Subject. 
  • Candidate can have paased 3 year diploma in any stream
  • with all this NATA score is manadatory for the admission.





Admissions Criteria


There shall be no CET for admissions to B.Arch. Programme. 


Eligibility Conditions:


i. Pass in 12th Class of 10+2 scheme of Senior School Certificate Examination of CBSE or equivalent with a minimum aggregate of 50% marks with Mathematics as a subject of examination at the 10+2 level 


10+3 Diploma (any stream) recognized by Central/ State Governments with 50% aggregate marks.

All candidates possessing any of the above qualifications must also have passed the National Aptitude Test of Architecture (NATA) conducted by Council of Architecture. 

For eligibility for NATA candidates are advised to refer the official website of Council of Architecture i.e. http://www.coa.gov.in/ 



How to Apply



Admissions will be made on the basis of NATA Score and the percentage of Aggregate marks, i.e., (percentage will be calculated considering all the subjects) obtained in the qualifying examination, i.e. Senior secondary level or equivalent


There shall be no CET for admissions to B.Arch. Programme.

Selection Procedure




Admissions will be made on the basis of NATA Score and the percentage of Aggregate marks, i.e., (percentage will be calculated considering all the subjects) obtained in the qualifying examination, i.e. Senior secondary level or equivalent


 Merit list shall be prepared based on:
  • Architectural Aptitude (NATA score) : 50%
  • Qualifying Examination (i.e., 10+2 OR 10+3 years diploma recognized by the Central / State Governments) : 50%

  • Start of application submission for all CET Codes : 01st Jun, 2016
  • Last date for application: 04th July, 2016
