Amar Ujala as a part of its Corporate Social responsibility is offering a scholarship to children of financially deprived on the basis of a competitive exam which will be held in 51 cities in India. The scholarship exam held in November 2016.

Amar Ujala Foundation has successfully organized a written examination for Atul Maheshwari Scholarship.Total 36 scholarships will be offered to the students of Class 9 to 12. 

The scholarships will be divided equally amongst the students of class 9 & 10 (18 Scholarships) and Class 11 & 12 (18 Scholarships) out of total 36 scholarships worth 14.4 Lakhs.

The interested candidates can apply online for Atul Maheshwari Scholarship 2016 through Online Registration Method. The Amar Ujala Foundation will accept the Scholarship Application Form via Online Mode Only. 

Eligibility Criteria

• Gender : Both

• Region: Uttar Pradesh, Himachal Pradesh, Jammu and kashmir, Chandigarh, Punjab, Haryana and Uttarakhand.

• Class/ Age: Class 9-12

Details: 

• Nationality: The candidate should be a resident of India.

• Minimum marks: The student must have obtained at least 65% marks in the final examination of previous class

• Family Income: The Annual Family Income of candidate's family from all sources  must be under 1.5 Lakh. 

Reward

Number of scholarships

The candidates of 9th to 12th Class will get Atul Maheshwari Scholarship 2016 as under:

• 9th and 10th Standard candidates: Rs.30,000/- per student 

• 11th and 12th Standard candidates: Rs.50,000/- per student

Total Scholarship Amount

 

• 9th & 10th Class: Rs.30,000×18= Rs.5,40,000/- 

• 11th & 12th Class: Rs.50,000×18 = Rs.9,00,000/-

Grand Total of Scholarship Amount: Rs.14,40,000/- (14.4 Lakh)

NOTE: Applications received after the due date i.e. September 7, 2016 will not be entertained.

Selection Process

• The candidates will be selected for Atul Maheshwari Scholarship based on their Academic Qualification (Last Exam Percentage), Financial Position (Family Income) and Performance in Written Exam to conducted at various centers located across the country. So, the candidates will have to secure higher marks in Written Exam in order to increase chances of getting Scholarship benefit.

• The date of Examination will be declared later. Most probably it will commence in the month of November 2016.

• The information related to the examination center will be given in the Admit card sent through their registered Email ID.
