KIIT Entrance Examination (KIITEE) is the All India Entrance Examination conducted by (Kalinga Institute of Industrial Technology) (KIIT University), Bhubaneswar for admission into following courses of the University. The notification for KIIT University Entrance Exam KIITEE 2017 has been announced.

Eligibility Criteria for KIITEE 2017
Undergraduate Courses
B. Tech (4 years), B. Tech & M. Tech-Dual Degree (5 years), B. Tech & MBA-Dual Degree (5 years) Course:
- Candidates who have passed 10+2 examination in 2016-17 or appearing in 10+2 examination in 2017 are only eligible to apply for B.Tech (4 years), B.Tech & M.Tech- Dual Degree (5 years), B.Tech & MBA-Dual Degree (6 years) course of the University
- Should have studied in regular full time formal education in their schooling/college
- Candidate should have pass in 10+2 or its equivalent with at least 60% marks in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics taken together
For B.Tech & M.Tech (Dual Degree) Biotechnology:
- Candidates should have passed in 10+2 or equivalent with at least 60% marks in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics/Biology taken together. Candidates should have born on or after 01st July 1996
For B. Tech - LE (3 years):
- Candidates should has pass in three years diploma course in Engineering with at least 60% marks in aggregate from State Council of Technical Education of any state. Candidate should have born on or after 01st July 1993
For Bachelor of Architecture (5 years):
- A pass in (10+2) exam from a recognized board or its equivalent subject to securing 60% marks in aggregate with mathematics as a subject at the higher secondary level and a pass in the National Aptitude Test in Architecture (NATA) conducted by the Council of Architecture (CoA), New Delhi either in 2016 or 2017
- Should have born on or after 01st July 1996
For MBBS/BDS Programmes:
- Candidates should have 10+2 pass with Physics, Chemistry, Biology & English with at least 50% marks in Physics, Chemistry & Biology taken together for general category candidates and 40% marks in Physics, Chemistry & Biology taken together for SC/ST Candidates
- Age Limit: Lower age should be 17 years as on 31st December 2017 and upper age limit should be maximum 25 years as on 31st December 2017; the upper age limit may be relaxed by five year for SC/ST candidates
For B.Sc. Nursing (4 years):
- Candidates should have passed in 10+2 or equivalent examination with Physics, Chemistry & Biology and English (PCBE) with at least 45% marks in aggregate
- Age Limit: Lower age should be 17 years as on 31st December 2017 and upper age limit should be maximum 35 years as on 31st December 2017
For B.A LLB/BBA LLB/B.Sc. LLB (5 years):
- Candidates should have 10+2 passed or equivalent in any stream with at least 45% marks; for B.Sc. LLB candidates should have passed 10+2 or equivalent in the science stream with at least 45% marks
- Age Limit: Not completed 21 years of age as on 01st July 2017
For BBA Programme:
- Candidates should have passed in 10+2 in any stream with at least 50% marks and having Mathematics/Business Mathematics/Economics/Statistics as one of the subjects in 10+2 level. Candidates should have born on or after 01st July 1996
For BCA Programme:
- Candidates should have passed in 10+2 in any stream with at least 50% marks and having Mathematics as one of the subjects in 10+2 level. Candidates should have born on or after 01st July 1996
For Bachelor of Design (Fashion/Textile) (4 years):
- Candidates should have passed in 10+2 in any stream with 50% marks in aggregate. Should have born on or after 01st July 1997
For Bachelor of Film &Television Production (3years):
- Candidates should have passed in 10+2 in any stream with 50% marks in aggregate. Candidates should have born on or after 01st July 1997
For Integrated MCA Programme:
- Candidates should have passed in 10+2 in any stream with at least 50% marks and having Mathematics as one of the subjects in 10+2 level. Candidates should have born on or after 01st July 1996
- A candidate who has passed IB Diploma from International Baccalaureate Organization, Geneva, Switzerland are eligible to take admission in all the courses where 10+2 is the eligibility qualification
Reservation of Seats
The KIITEE-2017 Quota Seats are distributed among different categories of candidates as follows. Separate Merit list will be prepared for each Category
SC: 15%
ST: 7.5%
PC: 3%
- Candidates will be considered eligible for admission under PC Category, who are having 40% disabilities in consonance with Section-39 of the Persons with Disabilities (Equal Participation) Act, 1995
- 15% & 7.5% seats of KIITEE-2017 quota seats will be reserved for Schedule Caste & Scheduled Tribe (by birth) respectively. (Not by adoption or marriage)
- 3% seats of KIITEE-2017 will be reserved for PC candidates
- 30% seats of each category will be reserved for the women candidates. (Only applicable for B. Tech (4 years) & Dual Degree Programme)
How to Apply
Application Form and Prospectus will be available online only; it will not be available in hard copy. Candidates have to apply online at www.kiitee.ac.in or www.kiit.ac.in or they can download it from the website; the 'Online Application Form' will be accepted after the following steps are completed:
i) Browse KIIT web site www.kiitee.ac.in or www.kiit.ac.in
ii) Select ‘Online Application’/‘Download’ option. (If you want to download, take the print out of downloaded Application Form’)
iii) Go through the Instructions to fill up the form
iv) Fill up ‘Online Application Form’ and submit
v) Take the print out of Application Form mentioning the Registration Number
vi) Paste the Photographs in the space provided for it
vii) Sign on ‘Signature’ columns both by candidate and parent/guardian
viii) Dispatch the Form along with two passport size photographs pasted in appropriate place and 10th Pass Certificate/Mark sheet
The print out of online Application form or filled in downloaded application form should be submitted in person/by post (Registered Post/Speed Post/Courier) to
so as to reach on or before Dt. 31st March 2017 (05.00 pm)

Admit Card
- Admit Card will be hosted on the website from 01st April 2017 to 05th April 2017
- In case, the Admit Card is not available in the website within 06th April 2017, candidates should write/contact KIIT between 07th April 2017 to 10th April 2017 giving details of the Post Office, date of dispatch, receipt of postal dispatch, Photocopy of the Application Form, one photograph, photocopy of 10th Pass Certificate/Mark sheet
