The admission will be purely on the basis of the performance in the Bharath Engineering Entrance Examination (BEEE) conducted by Bharath Institute of Higher Education and Research (BIHER)

B. Arch - Duration 5 Years


Eligibility Criteria


  • Nationality: The application for admission should be a resident Indian national and (i) should have studied in schools located in India in the preceding two years for admission to Undergraduate programme (ii) should have studied in educational institutions in India and completed their qualifying examination
  • Academic Qualification: For B. Tech: A pass in 10+2 or its equivalent with Minimum 50% aggregate in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics
  • For Industrial Biotechnology, Biomedical Engineering, Bioinformatics, Bio processing and Genetic Engineering with Minimum 50% aggregate in Physics, Chemistry and Biology
  • For B. Arch: (a) A pass in 10+2 or its equivalent having a minimum total aggregate of 50% with English and Mathematics as subjects of study or 10+3 Diploma (Any Stream) recognized by Central/State Government with 50% aggregate marks
  • b) A pass in National Aptitude Test in Architecture (NATA) conducted by the Council of Architecture. No separate entrance examination will be conducted by Bharath University. However, the candidates have to apply in the prescribed application form for admission to B.Arch Programme

How to Apply



  • The Application Forms will be issued from February onwards. There are two modes of registration
  • Online with Demand Draft: Application to be filled online by visiting official website and the same can be downloaded and sent to us with the demand draft for Rs.900/- drawn in favour of Bharath University, payable at Chennai
  • This has to reach us before the last date specified. Candidates should write their name and address on the reverse of Demand draft. Your application will be processed only upon receipt of the demand draft
  • Direct: Candidates can obtain the application form from any of the following sources upon payment of 900/-

Selection Procedure


Selection of candidates will be done on the basis of their performance in their Bharath Engineering Entrance Examination (BEEE) conducted by the institute.


BEEE 2017 Exam Pattern


Bharath Engineering Entrance Exam question paper will be based on the exam pattern of BEEE. 

Candidates can check the exam pattern for BEEE 2017 from below:



  • English (10 questions; 10 marks); 
  • Physics (30 questions; 30 marks); 
  • Chemistry (30 questions; 30 marks); 
  • Mathematics (30 questions; 30 marks); 
  • Biology* (30 questions; 30 marks)


*Only for Biology students

Total marks that can be obtained in the exam is 100. There is no negative marking


Admit Card


  • Admit card of BEEE 2017 is also known as BEEE hall ticket; after a candidate has applied, he/she is issued a document from the exam conducting body, which is very important from the examination point of view
  • The BEEE admit card is expected to be available a few days (or weeks) before the date of exam

Phase-I


  • Last Date for Receipt of Filled-in Application: 15th January 2017 (Sunday)
  • Date of Entrance Exam (Paper & Pencil Test): 22nd January 2017 (Sunday)
  • Declaration of Result (Phase-I): 13th February 2017 (Monday)

Phase-II


  • Last Date for Receipt of Filled-in Application: 01st April 2017 (Saturday)
  • Date of Entrance Exam (Paper & Pencil Test): 16th April 2017 (Sunday)
  • Date of BEEE (CBT): 16th to 25th April 2017 (Sunday-Tuesday)
  • Declaration of Result (Phase-II): 03rd May 2017 (Wednesday)
