CA CPT Registration June-2017

About


Institute of Chartered Accountants of India organizes CA CPT Exam twice in a year In the month of Dec/June. Common proficiency test is an entry level test for Chartered Accountancy Course.

Common Proficiency Test will be held on Sunday, 18th June, 2017 in two sessions as below:

First Session (i.e. Morning Session)

10.30 AM to 12.30 PM (IST)
Section - A Fundamentals of Accounting Section - B Mercantile Laws
Second Session (i.e. Afternoon Session)

2.00 PM to 4.00 PM (IST)
Section - C General Economics
Section - D Quantitative Aptitude


How to Apply



  • Create a Login: Choose registration number prefix from drop down menu
  • Choose "others" if none of above matches.
  • Authenticate using Course+SRN+DOB

Fees



  • The fees payable for the Common Proficiency Test is  Rs. 1000/- for centres in India, 
  • Rs. 1700/- for centres in Kathmandu (Nepal) and $ 300/- for centres in Abu Dhabi, Doha, Dubai & Muscat 



Who can submit online application form through CA CPT Registration?



  • For Registration: Candidates can enroll with the Institute for Common Proficiency Course (CPC) after passing class 10th examination conducted by an examining body constituted by law in India or an examination recognized by the Central Government as equivalent thereto.
  • For Applying: Candidates who have appeared and passed in the class 12th or equivalent exam can the apply for the CA CPT exam.



Applications for admission to Common Proficiency Test (CPT) is required to apply online at
http://icaiexam.icai.org from 5th April, 2017 to 27th April, 2017 and remit the examination fee online by using either VISA or MASTER Credit / Debit Card. 


It may be noted that there is no provision for acceptance of application forms after 27th April, 2017 with late fee.


The aforesaid Common Proficiency Test (CPT) is open only to students registered with the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India for the Common Proficiency Course on or before 3rd April, 2017 and fulfill the requisite eligibility conditions.

  • Registration for Examination to be done before: 3 April, 2017
  • Applications begin from: 5 April, 2017
  • Last date to Apply: 27 April, 2017
  • Exam Date: 18 June, 2017 (Sunday)

    Thanks for information. But now ICAI revised the old scheme and students now can only apply for CA Foundation registration.
