About
Bharti Vidyapeeth Deemed University is a group of higher educational institutions. The University organizes Bharti Vidyapeeth Deemed University Common Entrance Test (BVP CET) for admission to various UG courses that are offered by the BVP and its affiliated colleges.
BVP CET 2017 will be conducted separately for engineering, medical, management, nursing, etc.

Eligibility Criteria
Engineering Course:
- Candidates have to pass their Higher Secondary Certificate Examination (HSC) or the Indian School Certificate Examination (ISCE) or any other examination equivalent to 10+2 or HSC examination from any recognized university.
- They have to qualify their 12th with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with one of the Chemistry/Biology/Biotechnology/technical Vocational subjects.
- Candidate has to obtain at least 50% marks (45% marks SC/ST) in the above subjects taken together.
- Appearing candidates can also apply.
Medical Courses:
- Candidate has to complete 17 years on or before 31st December 2017.
- Candidates have to qualify their Higher Secondary Certificate Examination (HSC) or the Indian School Certificate Examination (ISC) or any other examination equivalent to 12th or HSC examination from any recognized university.
- They have to secure at least 50% marks (40% marks SC/ST category) in PCB or Biotechnology taken together in the qualifying examination.
- Those candidates apply for BAMS programme, they have to clear their 10+2 with PCB and obtained at least 50% (40% SC/ST) marks taken together.
- For BHMS, candidate has to qualify their 12th with PCB and English individually and secure at least 50% marks (40% in case of SC/ST category) in Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Biotechnology taken together.
- Candidates appearing in the qualifying exam can also apply.
How to apply
The application form is available in online as well as offline mode
- Online Application: Candidates can apply online and can make payment online through net banking, Credit or Debit card or cash card.
- Offline Application: Candidate can also download the application form and make payment by drawing a DD of any on any nationalized bank in favour of Registrar, Bharati Vidyapeeth University, Pune.
- The candidate can fill the form according their course choice.
- The last date to fill the application form will be separate for various courses.

Application Fee
Candidate can pay the fee through Demand Draft or credit/debit card, net banking. The fee is non-refundable. The DD will be payable at Pune drawn on any nationalized bank or Bharati Sahakari Bank, in favour of the Register Bharti Vidyapeeth Deemed University, Pune.

BVP CET Exam Pattern
- Mode of Exam: The entrance exam will be conducted through offline mode in the OMR answer sheet.
- Type of Questions: The question paper will be multiple choice objective type questions.
- Total Marks: All the question paper will consist of 200 marks.
- Duration: The duration of the Medical, Engineering, PG Dental & PG Medical entrance exam will be three hours.
- Marking: Each question will carry 1 mark.
- Negative Marking: There is no negative marking.
- Language: The question paper will be asked in English Language.
BVP CET 2017 Result
- The BVP CET 2017 Result will be displayed on the official portal of the university. Along with result, the merit list will also announce in the official site. The merit list will be prepared on the basis of marks candidate will obtained in the entrance exam.
- After the announcement of the result, the university will dispatch counselling and on spot selection invitation to the first 5000 candidates in the merit list of CET Engineering 2017.
BVP CET 2017 Counselling
- The BVPCET counselling will be conducted separately on the basis of the merit list. Candidates will be called for the counselling process on the basis of their merit. The seat will be allotted on the basis of the merit and availability of the seats.
- In case, any candidate will unable to present at the time of counseling, then they will authorize any other responsible individual to represent themselves at the counselling.
- In Engineering and Medical Examination, after filling all the seats, waiting list numbers will be allotted to only those candidates who have reported for counseling.
