About
Bharti Vidyapeeth Deemed University is a group of higher educational institutions. The University organizes Bharti Vidyapeeth Deemed University Common Entrance Test (BVP CET) for admission to various UG courses that are offered by the BVP and its affiliated colleges. BVP CET 2017 will be conducted separately for engineering, medical, management, nursing, etc.
On the basis of merit and rank obtained in BVP CET 2017, candidates will be offered admissions into undergraduate engineering programmes.
Eligibility Criteria
- Candidates are required to pass Higher Secondary Certificate Examination (H.S.C) or Indian School Certificate Examination (ISCE) or any other equivalent examination from any recognized Board/University or any school/college in India.
- Applicants need to have passed 10+2 examination with Mathematics and Physics as main subjects, along with Chemistry/Biotechnology/Biology/Technical as one of the optional subjects.
- General category candidates must have secured 45% aggregate marks in 10+2 level exam, while candidates SC/ST category candidates with 40% aggregate marks will be considered eligible for the exam.
- Applicants, who are appearing for the qualifying examination i. e. H.S.C. etc. in 2017will be considered eligible to appear in BVP CET 2017, but at the time of counselling, such students are required to produce mark sheet of HSC.

How to apply
The application form is available in online as well as offline mode
- Online Application: Candidates can apply online and can make payment online through net banking, Credit or Debit card or cash card.
- Offline Application: Candidate can also download the application form and make payment by drawing a DD of any on any nationalized bank in favour of Registrar, Bharati Vidyapeeth University, Pune.
BVP CET 2017 Exam Pattern
- Marks for each question: Each question will be followed by forr answers of which only one is correct.
- Type of Questions: Objective Type
- Negative Marking: There will be no nagative marking.
- Duration of Exam: 3 hours

Selection Process
After the declaration of the BVP CET Result, the university will start the selection process for the admission in Bharati Vidyapeeth Deemed University.
The selection of the candidates will be done on the basis of the merit list obtained by the candidates in BVP CET 2017. Students will be admitted to the Engineering degree courses of the college of engineering, Pune.
