Footwear Design & Development Institute (FDDI), Noida has invited applications for FDDI AIST Entrance Exam 2017 for admission to following Master’s and Bachelor’s Degree Programmes of the academic year 2017-18.
Candidates who are interested to take admission into UG and PG Courses must appear for FDDI AIST 2017 Entrance Exam.
Footwear Design and Development Institute (FDDI) conducts All India Selection Test (AIST) to offer admission to interested candidates in professional programmes in Footwear, Retail, Design and Leather accessory Design.
Programs Offered
Bachelor Degree Programs - (4 years)
- B.Des (Footwear Design, Production and Management)
- B.Des (Fashion Design, Leather Goods and Accessories Design)
- B.Des (Fashion Merchandise & Retail Management)
Integrated Program (Bachelor + Master) (5 years)
- Business and Entrepreneurship Management
Eligibility Criteria
- For UG Programs: Candidates should have cleared class 12 the examination from a recognized board or university. Candidates should have proficiency in English
- For Integrated Program: Candidates should have 10+2/Intermediate (candidates appearing in 10+2 may also apply)
- Eligible candidates will have to undergo an All India Selection Test (AIST) that consists of online test (Math, English, reasoning/General Science & GK)
- Age Limit: FDDI entrance exam eligibility criteria states that aspirants who are 25 years of age or below as on July 31, 2017 can appear for FDDI AIST 2017 for UG admissions.
FDDI Entrance Exam Pattern
- AIST 2017 is conducted both in the Hindi as well as English medium. This design entrance test will be conducted only as a computer based exam.
- FDDI entrance test will be 2.5 hrs (two and half-hours) duration and would be conducted in English and Hindi languages.
- There would be a total of 150 objective types questions
- Multiple choices for these questions will be available and candidates are required to choose the right answer.
Examination would comprise the following sections:
- Section A - Mathematics 45 questions
- Section B - General Science 30 questions
- Section C - English 45 questions
- Section D - General Awareness 30 questions
Each question would carry one mark; there is no negative marking
Marking Scheme: For every question answered correctly, aspirants will be awarded one mark. However, no marks will be deducted if a candidate answers any question wrongly as there is no negative marking in FDDI entrance exam 2017
Exam Centers
As per the last year, FDDI AIST had to be conducted at following centre: Agra, Allahabad, Bangalore, Bareilly, Bhubaneswar, Chandigarh, Chennai, Chhindwara, Chittorgarh, Dehradun, Delhi, Faridabad, Fursatganj, Ghaziabad, Gorakhpur, Gurgaon, Guwahati, Gwalior, Hyderabad, Indore, Jabalpur, Jaipur, Jalandhar, Jammu, Jamshedpur, Jodhpur, Kanpur, Kolkata, Lucknow, Meerut, Mumbai, Noida, Patna, Ranchi, Rohtak, Kochi, Shimla
- Aspirants need to mention the names of four test city choices in their FDDI application form (in order of their preference) for examination centre.
- FDDI exam centres would be allotted to students on the basis of availability

- Application Form will be Available Online on Website at www.fddiindia.com. Candidates who are seeking admission to UG course should fill and submit the application before the last date.
- The cost of Prospectus along with Admission Form is Rs.500/- Prospectus along with the Admission Form can be purchased from FDDI Campus at Noida, Fursatganj, Chennai, Kolkata, Chhindwara, Rohtak, Jodhpur and Guna
- You can send a Demand Draft of Rs.500/- (Rupees Five Hundred only) in favour of "FDDI" payable at New Delhi to FDDI, NOIDA and it will be sent through courier
