Bharati Vidyapeeth University, Pune conducts SLPCET entrance exam for admission to the Bachelor of Audiology & Speech Language Pathology (BASLP) Programme of the University.
The eligible students have to clear the exam to get admitted to the given course for the a cademic year 2017-18
Intake Capacity: 30+3 (Supernumerary seats)
Ten percent (10%) supernumerary seats of over and above the sanctioned intake are reserved for NRI/ Foreign quota candidates from Andaman and Nicobar, Lakshwadeep & Northeast and Jammu & Kashmir.
Candidates desirous of getting admission under these Category will have to ap-ply separately to The Registrar, Bharati Vidyapeeth Deemed University, Pune. The last Date for submission of the form for this Category is 13th June 2017 before 5.00 p.m
All the candidates seeking admissions will have to appear for common entrance examination SLPCET-2017 conducted by Bharati Vidyapeeth Deemed University, Pune. All candidates will have to apply on the prescribed form.
Eligibility Criteria
- Academic Qualification: The candidate applying for admission to BASLP course should have passed 10+2 examination or equivalent / two years of Pre-University/Pre-Degree examination conducted by the Pre University Board of Education of Government of respective State with a minimum of 50%.
- The applicant/candidate should have studied: Physics, Chemistry, Biology and one of the following subjects (Mathematics / Computer Science / Statistics /Electronics / Psychology
- Age: Applicants shall not be older than 25 years on the 1st July 2017 on the year of admission.
How to Apply
The candidates should strictly follow the instructions given in the website while filling up the application form online, and must read the instructions carefully before filling up the online application form.
Before filling up the application form online, candidates should:
- Create their login credential
- Have a scanned image of their recent passport size photograph(Refer to guidelines mentioned on the website)
- Have a scanned image of their signature, ready before filling up the online application form.
- Read the procedure and guidelines for online payments of test fee which is to be made through Credit Card / Debit Card / Internet Banking. (Refer to guidelines, terms and conditions for using online payment mentioned on the website)
The candidate may then proceed to fill the form and submit the completed application form. The candidate should take a print of payment receipt and completed application form for reference and as a record.
Candidates should submit the completed online application form on or before the last date mentioned
Submission of Application form in person / by post / by Courier:
In case, candidates are not able to fill form online, the application forms are available in person at designated centers as mentioned in this brochure and at the Admission Office, Bharati Vidyapeeth Deemed University, Bharati Vidyapeeth Bhavan, 2nd Floor, Common Entrance Test Cell, L.B.S. Exam Pattern
The SLPCET-2017 will consist of one question paper set in English and will contain 100 multiple choice objective type questions
25 each on Physics, Chemistry, Biology and Mathematics.
- Question No. 1-25 Physics (Compulsory),
- Question No. 26- 50 Chemistry (Compulsory),
- Question No. 51-75 Biology (Optional), and
- Question No. 76- 100 Mathematics (Optional).
- Question No. 1-50 are compulsory
These questions will be set on detailed syllabus given in the brochure. Each correct answer will get one mark. There is no negative marking.
Application Fee
A candidate desirous of appearing for the SLPCET- 2017entrance test is required to complete the prescribed application form and submit to the University along with entrance test fee of Rs. 1,100/- (Entrance test fee is non refundable)
Admit Card
- In case the Admission Card is not received by a candidate by he/she should contact the concerned Designated Centres at Pune, Navi Mumbai and New Delhi.
- In such a situation, the candidate should bring two copies of his/her authenticated photograph along with him/her and a proof of submission/mailing of application form. In case no proof is submitted, duplicate admission card will not be issued.
- Mere purchase of application form will not be considered as a proof of sending the completed application form
Counselling
- The name of candidates in the merit list prepared on the basis of SLPCET-2017 will be called in as per their ranks for counseling and on the spot admission.
- Admission to the course (BASLP) will be given provided the candidate fulfills the eligibility conditions prescribed for the course.

- Last date for submitting the completed application form: 13th June 2017
- Date and time of Common Entrance Test (Written): 20th June 2017 11.00 am to 1.00 pm
- Declaration of Result on: 7th July 2017
- Counseling and spot admission: 13th July 2017
