Chaudhary Charan Singh Haryana Agriculture University, Hisar has released notification from the eligible candidates to admission in various UG, courses through an Entrance Test for the academic year 2017-18.

Courses Offered

• B.Sc. (Hons) Agriculture (4 Years)

• B.Sc. (Hons) Community Science (4 Years)

Eligibility Criteria

• B.Sc. (Hons.) Ag. 4-year: 10+2 or equivalent having passed with Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Math or Agriculture stream from a recognized University/Board with 50% marks in 10+2 (relaxable upto 47.5% for Scheduled Caste and Person with Disability (PwD) candidates)

• B.Tech. (Agril. Engg.):10+2 Examination from any recognized board/ university with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics as compulsory subjects with at least 50% marks (47.5% for Scheduled Caste and Person withDisability (PwD) candidates).

• B.Sc. (Hons.) Community Science 4-year programme: Pass 10+2 exam. or equivalent from any stream with 50% marks (relaxable upto 47.5% for Scheduled Caste and Person with Disability (PwD) candidates) from a recognized Board/University.

• Preference will be given to the candidates coming from science stream with Physics, Chemistry and Math/Biology.

The admission procedure involves the following:

• Submission of all original documents and verification at the time of 1 Counselling fixed for them.

• Depositing the fee.

• Medical examination.

• Registration on due date.

• Admission procedure will be completed only after registration for the programme on the dates notified.

Admission Procedure 

• B.Sc.(Hons.) Ag. 4-year programme: Candidates who have qualified the Entrance Test for B.Sc.(Hons.) Ag. 4-year programme shall be required to report on 11.07.2017 at 9.30 a.m. at the College of Agriculture Auditorium for attendance and after obtaining attendance slip, report to the Admission Committee consisting of the Dean, College of Agriculture and Registrar/his representative. 

• B.Sc. (Hons.) Community Science 4-year programme: All eligible candidates of 4-year Programme who have applied for admission as per rules, are required to report on 13.07.2017 at 9.00 a.m. at the College of Home Science Auditorium for attendance and after obtaining attendance slip report to the Admission Committee consisting of the Dean, College of Home Science and Registrar/his representative.

• General for B.Sc.(Hons.)Ag./B.Sc.(Hons.) Community Science: Admission shall be allowed on the basis of availability of seat(s). Candidates admitted shall have to pay fees etc. there and then.

• Candidates admitted are required to report for registration on due date(s) failing which they will forfeit their fee and claim of admission.

NOTE: The candidates recommended by the ICAR for admission in this University may bring demand draft in favour of Dean of the college concerned for the amount to be confirmed from the respective Deans

Application Fee

The fee for submission of Online application form is Rs.1000/- for General Category and Rs. 250/- for SC/BC.

Exam Pattern

For B.Sc. (Hons.) Ag. 4 –year programme:  Details of the subjects of Entrance Test are as under:

• Duration of test: 10.00 a.m. to 1.00 p.m.

• 30 minutes are for completing pre-examination formalities and 2 ½ hours for solving question paper

• Medium of test: English

• No negative marking.

• Candidates seeking admission to B.Sc.(Hons.) Ag. 4-year programme shall be required to appear in i) Physics ii) Chemistry and iii) Biology or Math or Agri.

• Last Date for Receipt of Admission Forms: 20th May 2017

• Entrance Test for B.Sc. (Hons) Agri. 4 year Programme: 18th June 2017 (10.00 am Sunday)
