ICWA Essay Competition 2017

About


ICWA Essay Competition 2017 is a junior and senior level essay competition based on 'Awareness Programme on Indian Foreign Policy'


Indian Council of World Affairs (ICWA) started the competition last year, and this is the 2nd Edition of the essay writing competition.

The students enrolled in school and aged 15 to 18 years are eligible to participate under junior level category.


The young writers this year have the opportunity to demonstrate their innovative thinking on the following topic: 


Junior Level (15-18 years):


  • What India’s Foreign Policy means to Young India/ India’s Foreign Policy Priorities for the Youth – (1500 words).



The essay should be submitted via e-mail till 30 July 2017. Top 3 entries will be selected for cash prizes.

Eligibility Criteria


  • Gender: All
  • Region: All India
  • Age: 15-18
  • Educational Qualification: The students applying under junior category should be enrolled in any recognized school in India.
  • Language: Essay should be written in English or Hindi.



Essay Submission Date & Requirements


  • The entries should be submitted along with a certificate from School/ Institute/ College/ University where the participant is currently enrolled.



The entries should include a separate cover page carrying the following personal information: 

  • Name 
  • Father/Mother Name
  • Class/Programme 
  • Name and Address of School/College/ University
  • Residence Address
  • Mobile & Landline Numbers and 
  • Email Address.



Kindly note: No personal information should be provided on the Essay sheet.
