State University of Performing and Visual Arts, Rohtak has released the notification for the eligible candidates to admission of various courses for the academic year 2017-18. Interested and eligible candidates must apply online as per prescribed schedule.

State Institute of Film & Television

Eligibility Criteria
- For the subject (except Urban Planning and Architecture Course)
- A candidate who has 50% marks in Secondary 10+2 examination passed or appearing under recognized Central/State Board of Secondary Education/Council for Indian School of Certificate Examination, New Delhi.
- Whereas the SC candidates of Haryana are required to possess min. 47.5% marks.
- The candidates appearing in the above examination may also apply but they will have to deposit the proof of passing the qualifying exam at the time of cunselling.
- Admission for B.Arch shall be made on the basis of valid NATA score conducted by Council of Architecture and marks secured in the qualifying examination in the ratio of 50-50 through on-line and off-campus counselling by HSTES.
Entrance Examination Process
- Written Test: The Eligible candidates will have to appear for a written test which will be conducted at SIFA, Rohtak
- This examination evaluates a candidate’s aptitude based on General Knowledge, Current Affairs, and Logic/Reasoning ability, Communication Skill, Analytical Skill, Artistic Skills and Vocabulary
- Skill Test: The shortlisted candidates from the written examination (In ration of 1st seat to 4 candidates) are required to undergo a Skill Test
- Through this test the skills of material handling and innovative ability of the candidates will be evaluated
Personal Interview
- The shortlisted candidates from the skill test (In ration 1 seat to 2 candidates) will be called for personal interview which will be conducted by a panel of expert
- The candidate will be judged on various parameters such as career orientation, aptitude, overall personality traits, and communication, academic and co-curricular activities
Structure of Qualifying Test (QT)- 2017
- Minimum qualifying marks for the QT is fixed as 35 marks out of the total 100 marks.
- There is no Negative marking.
- Candidate who has qualified QT will have to appear for the creative aptitude Test (CT) & Skill test (ST) at the SUUPVA campus.
- The test will be conducted between 10:00 AM to 06:00 PM and will consist of 2 hrs for CT and 4 hrs for ST.
