Punjab MBBS/BDS Registration Form 2017

About

Earlier the entrance test was  conducted namely (PMET) by Baba Farid University of Health Sciences (BFUHS) for admission in Govt./Private Medical and Dental Colleges affiliated to MBBS/BDS course for the academic session 2017-18. 

But now as per the notification of Union Grant Commission, the NEET is a common exam which is mandatory for admission into government and private medical colleges in India for MBBS/BDS course. 

However, the candidates still have to fill the Punjab MBBS/BDS Registration form in order to get admission in the medical colleges in India.

Tentative List of Medical Colleges/Seats

Note:

• Distribution of seats will be as per Punjab Government Notification

• The List of eligible colleges/seats may increase/decrease subject to the orders of Hon'ble Courts/MCI/DCI/Governments. The final list will be displayed at the time of Counselling.

Eligibility Criteria

• Domicile: The candidate should be bonafide resident of Punjab to appear in NEET except for 15% All Inidiia Quota NRI Seats and wards of Defense Personnel posted in Punjab.

• Academic Qualification: The admission to MBBS/BDS Courses shall be open to candidates who have qualified NEETUG-2017 and eligible as per Punjab Govt. notifications and subsequent amendment(s)/corrigendum(s). 

• Candidates must have passed Class 12 Higher/ Senior Secondary with Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Bio-technology and English and Minimum aggregate of 50% marks in Physics, Chemistry and Biology/Biotechnology 45% marks in case of candidates belonging to SC/BC.

• Candidates must have passed in physics, Chemistry, Biology/ Bio-technology and English Technology.

How to Apply

• STEP 1: Register using NEET 2017 score to the link given above and enter all the necessary details.

• STEP 2: Fill the application form using the correct information 

• STEP 3: Make payment

• STEP 4: Upload the documents

• STEP 5: Lock your Application and get the printout of the application form.

• STEP 6: Take printout form. The candidate need not send it to the University.

• Application form automatically will be locked after cut off date and get print after that.

Application Fee

• Fee of Rs. 5000/- (Rs. 2500/- for SC candidates) in University Account in any Branch of Oriental Bank of Commerce or SBI Bank through challan form which will be generated on successful filling of online admission application form at university website. Bank Account Number mentioned on Challan Form
