Educharya.com announces Kalpana Chawla National Scholar (KCNS) 2017, a scholarship exam initiative, for the young generation of India promising enough to reach great heights. KCNS Exam is a great opportunity for young geniuses to highlight their talent and stand a cut above the rest.
This is one of its kind online meritorious national scholar platform which can be attempted from the comforts of your home. It also helps bright students to compete with the rank holders at par.
Eligibility Criteria
- Classes: Class V-IX of CBSE, ICSE & State Board Affiliated Schools in India.
Selection Process
KCNS exam will be conducted in two stages:
- The first stage will be the Online Scholarship Exam. The Class wise Merit list will name the Qualifiers.
- In the Second stage, the Qualifiers will have to go through the Rapid Fire round through Skype / Video Calling. (Applicable only to the Qualifiers)
- In each Prize category of 21 winners, 9 students will be from Classes V-VII, 10 students will be from Classes VIII-IX and one reserve category winner each from the Wards of Farmer & Military personnel.
Rewards
The Total Categories of Prizes are 4. 4th is the consolation Prize Category. Each prize category has 21 winners. The total number of Winners are 84 students across all the Prize Categories:
- 1st Prize: NASA camp. Top 21 students will get to go to NASA camp.
- 2nd Prize: Cash Prize of INR One Lakh will be awarded to 21 students.
- 3rd Prize: Cash Prize of INR Fifty-One Thousand will be awarded to 21 students.
- Consolation Prize (4th): Cash Prize of INR Twenty-One Thousand will be awarded to 21 students.
How to Apply
To enroll for the KCNS Exam, first register and create your account
Upon profile registration, you will receive an email with the Educharya log in and password on your registered Email ID & Mobile Number.
With your account credentials, login to educharya and register for KCNS exam
KCNS Preparation
- The KCNS exam course is in-line with your school and academic curriculums, i.e., ICSE, CBSE and State Boards set of courses.
- You will be required to study your academic curriculum, gather vast knowledge plus stand a chance to go to NASA camp or win cash prizes.
- To aid you further, we will conduct online Practice papers for the Exam Preparation, dedicated 9 Sundays from 11th August to 5th of December 2017, to give you a fair chance to win.
