SRM Entrance Examination for Engineering (SRMJEEE) 2018 is a Joint Entrance Examination for admission to B Tech and M Tech Degree Programs offered in Kattankulathur, Ramapuram, Vadapalani and Ghaziabad Campuses of SRM University Chennai, Amaravati Campus of SRM University - AP and Sonepat Campus of SRM University - Haryana.

SRMJEEE 2018

The SRM Joint Engineering Entrance Examination (SRMJEEE 2018) will be conducted by SRM University for admission to undergraduate engineering programs.

The application form of SRMJEEE 2018 will be released in October 2017. SRMJEEE is a national level computer based entrance examination to be held in various slots in April 2018.

Eligibility Criteria

Nationality: The applicant should be an Indian resident.

Minimum 65% aggregate in Mathematics, Physics & Chemistry

Candidate should have studied in schools located in India in the preceding two years for admission to Undergraduate program.

Candidate Should have studied in educational institutions in India and completed their qualifying examination.

B.Tech: A pass in 10+2 or its equivalent and (i) For all programs: Minimum 65% aggregate in Mathematics, Physics & Chemistry (ii) For Biotechnology, Biomedical Engineering, Bioinformatics and Genetic Engineering: Minimum 65% aggregate in Mathematics /Biology, Physics and Chemistry and other campuses and SRM University Haryana: 60% aggregate in PCM or PCB

The application after being filled can be downloaded and sent to us with the DD for Rs.`1100/- drawn in favour of SRMIST, payable at Chennai. This has to reach us before the last date specified. Candidates should write their name and address on the reverse of DD and send to:

Selection Procedure

Candidates will be invited for counselling session based on the score obtained in SRMJEEE (UG)

One or more counselling sessions will be held depending on the vacancy of seats.

Candidates can choose their preferred specialization/branch of study in a particular campus based on:

(a) Merit List based on Score obtained.

(b) fulfilling the programme-specific eligibility criteria for a particular campus

Exam Pattern

Duration of the Exam: 02 Hours 30 Minutes

Coverage of Subjects: Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics /Biology

Mode of Exam: Online

Test Sessions/Slots: Individual candidates have to book their convenient test slots, subject to availability of slots for a particular center/date

Paper Pattern

i) Language: Question paper will be only in English

ii) Questions are of objective type

iii) Each question has 4 alternate answers

iv) The correct answer has to be chosen and the appropriate oval should be shaded

Part 1: Physics 35 questions with a total weightage of 105 marks

Part 2: Chemistry 35 questions with a total weightage of 105 marks

Part 3: Mathematics 35 questions with a total weightage of 105 marks

Part 4: Biology 50 questions with a total weightage of 105 marks

Total weightage 315 marks

Negative mark of 1 for every wrong answer in physics, chemistry & mathematics and 0.7 for every wrong answer in biology.
