Why one should "Never Give Up"

“It’s hard to beat a person who never gives up”
– Babe Ruth

Persistence never dies. It shouldn’t be hard to achieve what we jot in our minds at the beginning of the day. It may seem difficult sometimes, but if we plan it out we will be surprised to achieve it without much of hassle. We plan so many things while having our morning coffee. We organize our minds, discipline it and work our ways to fulfill our day’s goals. Something along the way stuns us. We stop and give up after a point of time owing to all the pressure we shoulder at work. Giving up is one of the major mistakes for a fallout of our plan; but surprisingly "Giving up" is NOT the only mistake we make.

WE PROCRASTINATE -
What is the point of procrastinating? There have been people who have said “why do things today when you can put them off till tomorrow”. Sure that sounds like a true story for most of us in our everyday lives; but definitely not at work!

Babies try a gazillion times to stand up and walk. When they can try, without even knowing that they are trying, then Why can’t we?

The Titanic sank with 1500 people under her and only 700 survived. Out of the 1500 in the sea, four came back and persevered to live. They did not want to die in the icy, cold waters of the North Atlantic on that night. They struggled to live knowing the kinds of difficulties they might face, but they NEVER gave up. Imagine how our lives can turn out to be if we put even a fraction of the effort that these people had put, to survive. We would be able to defeat failure and things could be in the grasp of our palms right where we want it; if we just don’t give up.

On the lighter side, most of us who have seen the movie Kung Fu Panda will have no problem in recalling the famous and extremely lovable character of "PO", the Panda. The animated movies too have so much to teach us. A fat, fluffy, black and white ball of fur; this character did not fail to stun us with his adorable techniques of succeeding in Kung-fu. All he required was a little push from his miniscule master Shi-fu; the Raccoon. Inspirational and humorous, this movie showed the true results of trying hard to succeed, of making a mark, of putting your best in everything even after being ridiculed by a weird bunch of Kung-fu animals. The master recognized his potential and pushed him right to the edge which eventually made him successful. Such movies make us realize that the morals are not only for kids, but also for people from all age-groups.

It cannot be more fitting than this. The saying by Babe Ruth - “It’s hard to beat a person who never gives up”, is true in every sense. All we have to do is to clear our minds from all the mindlessness. We have to free our minds from every-day's garble and strive to awaken the ‘PO’ hidden in all of us.

To get yourself pushed to extremes and realize the true potential that you hold within, you can always get in touch with your Shi-fu, that is, you can get in touch with "The WonderSkool Team" through the following FB page:
