The notification for BITS Pilani BPharmacy Admission 2016 through BITSAT 2016 has been announced. Applications are invited for Admission to B.Pharmacy Programme at Pilani and Hyderabad Campuses from bright students of 12th class with Physics, Chemistry and Biology/Mathematics subjects through BITSAT 2016.
About the B.Pharmacy Program
- The Department of Pharmacy of BITS Pilani, established in 1950, is the one of early schools of Pharmacy in India. B. Pharm program is offered at Pilani and Hyderabad Campuses of BITS Pilani.
- Alumni of Pharmacy Department, BITS Pilani are well placed in India as well as abroad in various pharmaceutical companies, government organizations like drug control, research laboratories, etc., and in several well known academic institutions
- The programme is an amalgamation of foundation skills, pharmacy essentials, research, and management and is highly flexible with an opportunity for electives, projects, vertical transfer to M.Pharmacy, etc. It allows students to specialize in research, clinical pharmacy and entrepreneurship
Eligibility Requirements
12th class examination of 10+2 system from a recognized Central or State board or its equivalent with Physics, Chemistry and Biology in 12th class. However, candidates with PCM may also apply for Pharmacy program
The candidate should have obtained a minimum of 75% aggregate marks in Physics, Chemistry and Biology/Mathematics subjects in 12th class examination, with at least 60% marks in each of the Physics, Chemistry, and Biology/Mathematics subjects and adequate proficiency in English
Admission Procedure
Admissions will be made only on his/her merit position based on the score obtained in BITSAT-2016

Interested candidates should register for BITSAT-2016 by applying in the prescribed application form at www.bitsadmission.com
The prescribed fees for BITSAT-2016 is Rs.2200/- (1700/- for female candidates) Options for payment of fees are given at the website

Important Date
Deadline to register for BITSAT-2016 by filling the online form along with the prescribed fee is 05th March 2016 (05.00 pm)
