- Applications are invited for Dr DY Patil University All India Common Entrance Test (DPU AICET) 2016. Dr DY Patil Vidyapeeth, Punehas announced admissions to undergraduate MBBS and BDS programme offered in the university. Dr DY Patil AICET 2016 entrance exam is scheduled to be held on 14th May 2016 (Saturday).
- The Medical/Dental Entrance Exam is gateway for admission to the Undergraduate, Postgraduate and Super-Specialty Programmes in various Constituent Colleges of Dr. D.Y. Patil Vidyapeeth Pune
- Dr DY Patil AICTE is conducted to enrol applicants in as may as 150 seats in MBBS and 100 seats in BDS program
Eligibility for MBBS/BDS
Only the candidate, who satisfies or is likely to satisfy the following eligibility requirements for admission to the Courses, shall be considered eligible to appear for the AICET-2016
- The candidate, seeking admission to these programmes, shall have passed in the subjects of Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English individually and must have obtained at least 50% marks (40% marks in respect of candidates belonging to SC/ ST/OBC) in Physics Chemistry and Biology taken together in the qualifying examination, i.e. 10+2/ HSC or an equivalent examination
- A candidate who has appeared or is likely to appear for qualifying exam i.e. HSC etc., and whose results have not been declared at the time of AICET-2016 shall also be considered eligible to appear for AICET-2016, provided he/she has offered the above mentioned subjects at the said qualifying exams
- The candidate seeking admission for the programmes shall also have secured at least 50% marks (100 out of 200 marks) at the AICET-2016
Nationality & Age
The candidate, seeking to appear at the AICET-2016 shall be an Indian national and shall have completed 17 years of age on or before 31st December 2016, i.e. he/she should have been born before 01st Jan 2000
Exam Pattern
- Dr. D.Y.Patil AICET 2016 consists of one question paper of 200 marks
- AICET 2016 consists of one exam in an offline mode. It's an objective type multiple choice question paper. It is a 3 hour paper and students will have to answer 200 questions during this time
- One mark is awarded for a correct answer, there is no negative marking
- The question paper consists of two hundred objective-type Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs), 50 each on Physics, Chemistry, Botany and Zoology

Candidates can submit the application form personally or by mail through Registered Post/Speed Post/Courier to the Registrar, Dr. D Y Patil Vidyapeeth, Sant Tukaram Nagar, Pimpri, Pune- 411018
The application should be accompanied with a Demand Draft of Rs.2600/- or Rs.2850/-as the case may be drawn on any nationalized bank payable at Pune
Application Form
- Application Form can be obtained from the university office on the payment of Rs.500 /- in cash or Demand Draft. Through a requisition letter with name of course opted for, detailed correspondence address with contact no. and email address, along with a demand draft of Rs.600/- drown on any nationalized bank, in favour of “Registrar, Dr. D. Y. Patil Vidyapeeth, Pune”, payable at Pune
- By downloading from the university website www.dpu.edu.in
- The downloaded form shall be submitted along with a Demand Draft of Rs.2600/- covering Form Fee + Test Fee plus Postage Rs.100/-) Fees should not be send by money order. The university shall not be responsible for any postal delay or loss
- Fees should not be sent by Money Order. The Vidyapeeth shall not be responsible for any postal delay or loss in transit. Late Fee for all courses shall be Rs.250/-
