The aspirants, who are looking for ICFAI University Dehradun BTech Admission 2016, can have a look over here. Applications are invited by ICFAI University, Dehradun for admission to four year full-time Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech) program offered in various branches at Faculty of Science and Technology (FST) for the academic year 2016


The Admission Modalities are with reference to the campus based B.Tech Program for 10+2 students, offered by the ICFAI University, Dehradun. The medium of instruction is English

B.Tech Program



Eligibility Criteria


Students securing 50% aggregate in Class XII or its equivalent with Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry and English as subjects. Final year students are also eligible to apply


Final year students of 10+2 who have not received the original certificates from the Board by 29th July 2016 will be admitted provisionally


Their admission will be confirmed subject to their passing the qualifying exam and obtaining minimum specified marks




Selection Process


The selection of applicants into the B.Tech program is made through screening of application and admission test scores


While evaluating applicants for admission, due weightage is given to their academic distinction, awards in sports/ cultural events, debates, quizzes and other extra co-curricular activities


Test scores of JEE (Main) 2016/ Other National Level/ State Level/ Engineering Entrance Tests 2016 are accepted




How to Apply






There are two ways of applying:


Online Application: Candidates can apply online by filling up the Application Form available at www.iudehradun.edu.in and make payment of Rs.300/- towards the cost using Credit/Debit Card (Visa /Master Card/Internet Banking) through secure internet payment gateway


Download of Application Form: Candidates can download the application form and send it to the Admissions Office along with the Demand Draft of Rs.300/- towards the cost. The DD should be drawn in favor of the ICFAI University, Dehradun - Fee Collection A/c) payable at Dehradun




Important Dates


  • Last Date for Submission of Completed Application Form: 30th June 2016
  • Interview and Admission Decision: 07th July 2016
  • Reporting at ICFAI University, Dehradun for submission of certificates and verification by producing originals: 18th July 2016
  • Registration & Payment of First Semester Program Fee: 18th July 2016
  • Commencement of Classes: 19th July 2016
