Footwear Design & Development Institute (FDDI), Noida has invited applications for FDDI AIST Entrance Exam 2016 for admission to following Master’s and Bachelor’s Degree Programmes of the academic year 2016-17
FDDI (Footwear Design & Development Institute) has released a notification for admission to UG and PG Courses through FDDI AIST 2016 Entrance Exam. Candidates who are interested to take admission into UG and PG Courses must appear for FDDI AIST 2016 Entrance Exam
Programs Offered
Master Degree Programs (2 years)
- MBA (Retail Management & Fashion Merchandise)
- MBA (Footwear Design, Production & Management)
- M.Des (Creative Design and CAD/CAM)
Bachelor Degree Programs - (4 years)
- B.Des (Footwear Design, Production and Management)
- B.Des (Fashion Design, Leather Goods and Accessories Design)
- B.Des (Fashion Merchandise & Retail Management)
- Integrated Program (Bachelor + Master) (5 years) Business and Entrepreneurship Management
Eligibility Criteria
The eligibility criteria are as follows:
- For PG Programs: Candidates hold a bachelor’s degree from a recognized institutions/university in order to apply for admission to post graduate course
- For UG Programs: Candidates should have cleared class 12 the examination from a recognized board or university. Candidates should have proficiency in English
- For Integrated Program: Candidates should have 10+2/Intermediate (candidates appearing in 10+2 may also apply)
Eligible candidates will have to undergo an All India Selection Test (AIST) that consists of online test (Math, English, reasoning/General Science & GK)
Candidates who have attempted CAT/MAT/XAT are eligible for exemption from appearing in the online test of FDDI
Candidates appearing for CAT/MAT/XAT will also have the option to appear for FDDI online test. In that case, the better of two exams i.e. CAT/MAT/XAT or FDDI written exam will be considered for the merit of selection
The common merit list of online test will be prepared for candidates appeared in test of FDDI and applied under CAT & MAT category
Exam Pattern
FDDI entrance test will be 2.5 hrs (two and half-hours) duration and would be conducted in English and Hindi languages. There would be a total of 150 objective types questions
Multiple choices for these questions will be available and candidates are required to choose the right answer. Examination would comprise the following sections:
For Post Graduate Program
- Section A - Quantitative Aptitude & Reasoning 45 questions
- Section B - English 45 questions
- Section C - General Awareness 30 questions
- Section D - Business Aptitude 30 questions
For Under Graduate Program
- Section A - Mathematics 45 questions
- Section B - General Science 30 questions
- Section C - English 45 questions
- Section D - General Awareness 30 questions
Each question would carry one mark; there is no negative marking
