Birla Institute of Technology (NIT), Mesra Ranchi applications are invited from eligible Class XII pass-out aspiring for admission to the B.Sc (Animation & Multimedia) Program 2016 of the Institute at BIT Jaipur & Noida Campuses for the session 2016-17

B.Sc Animation & Multimedia Program is a three-year (six semesters) degree course currently offered only at the BIT Noida and BIT Jaipur Campuses.

This is a modular program (six semesters) and on successful completion of six semesters he/she will be awarded a Degree of B.Sc Animation & Multimedia.

Seat Intake

• BIT Jaipur - 20 Seats (for Home State) & 20 Seats (for All India)

• BIT Noida - 20 Seats (for Home State) & 20 Seats (for All India)

Eligibility Criteria

Candidates must have passed Class12 or equivalent qualifying examination with minimum 50% (45% for SC/ST/ PwD) marks with English as a subject in the qualifying exam.

Percentage of marks in Class12/Equivalent Qualifying Exam shall be considered on the basis of board’s calculation of percentage for the award of division/degree/certificate.

Selection Procedure

Selection will be made strictly on the basis of marks obtained by the candidates in Class 12/equivalent qualifying exam (in required subjects) and performance in Creativity Aptitude Test & Interview conducted by the Institute

The merit list will be prepared by giving:

• 40% weight age to marks/score obtained by the candidates in creativity Aptitude Test

• 10% weight age to marks obtained by the candidates in interview and

• 50% weight-age to marks obtained by the candidates in Class 12/Equivalent Qualifying Exam (in required subject only)

List of waitlisted candidates will also be announced on the Institute website and Notice Board of the respective BIT Centre

To apply for the B.Sc Animation & Multimedia Program 2016, eligible candidates must download the application form from our website www.bitmesra.ac.in and submit it at BIT Noida (Please see Contact details section for address) and:

• A Crossed Demand Draft of Rs.2500/- (General)

• Rs.1500/- (SC/ST) candidates (non-refundable)

ii) Send a printout of the completed form along with - a) Two recent color photographs (one pasted on the form and one attached by clip to the form); b) Photocopies of all mark sheets and certificates (see List of Enclosures); c) A Crossed Demand Draft

iii) Send in an A4 size envelope by Speed post/reliable courier (means by which sender may track its movement on internet) to the office of Director, Birla Institute of Technology, A-7, Sector-1, Noida -201301 positively by the due date; write "Application for B.Sc Animation & Multimedia 2016" on top of the envelope
