Tata Building India Online Essay Competition for 2015-2016

About 

The Tata Building India (TBI) School Essay Competition is one of the key initiatives undertaken by the Tata group of companies to motivate the youth of India towards thinking about nation building. The essay competition provides a unique platform to encourage young leaders of tomorrow to showcase their expressions in writing, on a host of subjects related to nation building.

Tata Group of Companies started this competition in order to motivate the youth of India so that they can think about the nation building.

Submission of entries starts from August 5, 2015 and will closed on July 31, 2016. 

• A school student may be able to participate in online version of the essay contest only once in an academic session or term.
• The essay is written by the student only once but is evaluated at three levels- Schools, city and National level. 
• There is no Entry fee to participate in the Tata Building India Essay Competition.

Online Essay Contest

• The On-line essay competition is for students in whose schools where Tata Building India school Essay competition is not held at school level.
• Online version permits to participate only once in a academic year on the randomly selected topics which appears on the screen after registration.

Eligibility Criteria

Gender: Both

Class: Class 6-12

All the online submitted essays will be divided into two categories

Junior : Class 6 to class 8

Senior : Class 9 to Class 12

Topic of Tata Building India Essay Competition

• The topics of the competition will be shown to the particopant after the completion of registration. 

• The participants will get 90 Minutes of time to write the essay with a maximum word limit of 1000 words.

• The student can submit the multiple entries but the latest entry submitted by the participant will be considered for evaluation.

All the received entries will be evaluated by a Panel of Judges on the given parameters

• Relevance to topic
• Language
• Structure
• Creativity
• Communication of idea.

The name of the winners will be displayed on the official website of TBI and Facebook page of Tata Building India.

The essay will be evaluated by the panel of judges at three levels — School, City and National level. And there is no participation fee required to be submitted in order to participate in Tata Building India Essay Competition 2015-16.

Online Essay Contest

If in the school of students, where Tata Building India School Essay Competition is not going to be held, then these students can apply for Online Essay Contest.

In the Online Essay contest, the participant will only be able to participate once in an academic year on the selected topic, which will display after the registration.

School level Essay Contest

The essay competition would be conducted across 180 cities, more than 7000 schools and will cover approximately 3.5 million students and scheduled to be held in 12 languages.

• The entries which will win will get Certificates and exciting prizes.
• All the Tata Building India Essay Competition winners will receive citation.
• Prizes will be awarded for school, city and national level winners.
