Indian School of Business and Finance | ISBF 2017

About


Indian School of Business and Finance has announced admissions for the year 2017 for a number of undergraduate courses specializing in Economics, Management & Finance. 

All four courses have course curriculum designed by the London School of Economic. Students can apply online from the official website of ISBF.

Eligibility Criteria



  • Students from CBSE/ ISC Board should have scored minimum 70 percent marks in class xii and with at least 50 percent marks in Mathematics in x class.
  • Students from Other Indian Boards must have scored minimum 70 percent marks in aggregate with at least 50 percent marks in Mathematics in xii class Board Exams or minimum 80 percent marks in Mathematics in x class.
  • Students from all streams (Science / Humanities/Commerce) can apply for the BSc Economics degree course.
  • Students applying for BSc Economics Honours (BA Economics Hons) / BSc Economics/ Finance course need to have Mathematics as a subject in Class xii.


Other Requirements


  • All Streams: Students from all streams (Science, Humanities, Commerce) can apply for all four courses
  • Having Economics in class XII is NOT an entry requirement
  • Mathematics is mandatory for BSc. Economics and BSc. Economics &Finance

There are two modes through which the candidate can apply:

Offline Mode

  • Read the instructions carefully before filling up the application form. Please ensure that all requisite fields are filled in CAPITAL LETTERS. 
  • Incomplete and illegible forms will not be accepted. All information provided by you is intended for official use only and will be kept confidential. 
  • In your own interest, you must keep a copy of the filled-in application form. 
  • Application fee (non-refundable) of 2,500/- has to be paid by cash / demand draft in favour of “Teamwork Education Foundation” payable at New Delhi. 
  • You can courier the completed application form to our campus (15A, Ring Road, Lajpat Nagar IV, New Delhi 110 024, INDIA) along with the copies of necessary documents. You can also email the completed form (uol@isbf.edu.in) along with the scans of necessary documents.


NOTE: ISBF reserves the right to cancel any admission, even after commencement of the academic session, if the candidate is found to have obtained admission using fraudulent certificates or by furnishing false details/misrepresenting facts. ISBF will not be held responsible for any delay or loss in the case of applications submitted by post.

Scholarships and Financial Aid


Limited scholarships are available for meritorious students.

Three kinds of scholarships are on offer for students. These are:

1. Scholarships available at the time of admission

  • ISBF Scholarship
  • Tuition fee waiver of upto 50 percent of the ISBF fees.



2. Scholarships available after admission

University of London Achievement Award


  • 5 Merit scholarships are available to students of University of London International Programmes from India, Pakistan & Sri Lanka.
  • These scholarships include a waiver of up to 100 percent of University of London’s second year tuition fees.



3. LSE Summer School Scholarship

  • Recipients of this scholarship get to attend summer school at the LSE campus in London with other recipients from all over the world.



Eligibility criteria for the Scholrships


  • You can apply for ISBF Scholarship 2017 if your score is above 94 percent in best of four (Subjects including English and three other academic subjects).
  • To be able to apply for ISBF Scholarship 2017, you should be an applicant who has completed his/her admission process (entrance and personal interview) at ISBF and has been made an unconditional offer of admission.
  • Also, ISBF Scholarship 2017 is only awarded to students who have completed their Class XII in 2017.
  • If you fulfill the above conditions, you can apply for ISBF Scholarship 2017 at scholarship@isbf.edu.in.
  • Scholarships are limited and evaluated on basis of merit and need.



Selection Process


All students who have completed the application are eligible to appear for the selection process which consists of two compulsory stages. These stages are:


  • ISBF Maths English Test (iMET): 2 hours duration
  • Personal Interview



For an applicant to be made an offer of admission into the programme involves careful consideration of the following five parameters:

  • Class X Boards score
  • Class XII Boards score
  • Co-curricular and extra-curricular record
  • Performance in iMET (ISBF Entrance Test)
  • Performance in Personal Interview



The following applicants will be exempt from appearing for the iMET, and will only be required to appear for the Personal Interview. Students who have:


  • A score of 32 points or above in the IB Diploma
  • Two grades of B or above in relevant subjects at A Levels
  • A valid SAT score is 1250
