Narsee Monjee Institute of Management Studies (NPAT 2017)

About


NPAT 2016 (NMIMS Programs After Twelfth) is the official entrance test for admissions to Undergraduate Degree and Integrated Degree Programs (Academic session 2017-18) being offered by constituent schools of SVKM's Narsee Monjee Institute of Management Studies (Deemed to be University u/s 3 of UGC act 1956) at Mumbai, Shirpur and Bengaluru Campuses.


The Narsee Monjee Institute of Management Studies has released the admission notification and the NPAT Application has started. The last date to apply is 30 April 2017

  • Shirpur Campus offers – B.Tech., MBA Tech. and MBA Pharma Tech
  • Bengaluru Campus offers – BBA, B.Sc. Finance and B.Sc. Economics



Eligibility Criteria


  • Academic Qualification for B. Tech and Integrated M.Tech : Candidate must have passed Class 12 or equivalent exam including IB Diploma (IB certificate awarded is not eligible) with English as compulsory subject & with science or science vocational & minimum 50% marks in PCM for Mumbai campus & 45% marks in PCM for Shirpur Campus
  • Those awaiting their 10+2 or equivalent examination result this year may also apply



How to Apply



  • Registration Online on website www.nmims.edu and Pay registration Fee of Rs.1800/- (non-refundable) by Credit Card and by Demand Draft (Please refer online registration for payment details)


Candidates are given choice to register for multiple programs (School wise). List of Schools and programs under NPAT 2017 are as follows:


  • Mukesh Patel School of Technology Management Engineering - Mumbai & Shirpur campus - B. Tech/ MBA Tech
  • Shobhaben Pratapbhai Patel School of Pharmacy & Tech. Management - Mumbai campus & School of Pharmacy & Tech. Management – Shirpur campus - MBA Pharma Tech
  • SOC - BBA/ B.Com/ B.Sc Finance
  • SOE - B.Sc Economics



Selection Process


  • Merit list will be prepared on the basis of the performance of the candidate in NPAT
  • Candidates will be called for counseling session at Mumbai based on the merit list
  • In the counseling session candidates will be given admission to various disciplines as per their merit, choice and availability of discipline as per eligibility criteria
  • The decision of the institute will be final in this regard and no inquiries or correspondence in this regard will be entertained



Exam Pattern - NPAT 2017


The NPAT 2017 for would be an objective type multiple-choice test. (There will be no descriptive type of questions)

The NPAT 2017 will comprise of 3 major parts as follows:



  • Test will be conducted to two hours; each section will be have 40 questions
  • Proficiency in English Language - 40 Questions; 45 Minutes & 40 Weightage
  • Quantitative & Numerical test together Ability - 40 Questions; 45 Minutes & 40 Weightage
  • Reasoning & General Intelligence - 40 Questions; 30 Minutes & 20 Weightage
  • Total no of questions: 120 and Composite time of 120 minutes for all
  • For each Question for which a wrong answer is marked, 1/4th of the marks allotted to that question will be deducted as penalty



Online Test (NPAT) 2017


All eligible candidates who are registered successfully will be called for the online test; the candidates should check that he/she is eligible as per the conditions regarding qualification stated above

Test Centres: Andhra Pradesh (Hyderabad); Delhi (Delhi NCR, Gurgoan, Noida, Ghaziabad); Gujarat (Ahmedabad, Surat, Vadodara); Karnataka (Bangalore); Madhya Pradesh (Indore, Bhopal); Maharashtra (Mumbai, Navi Mumbai, Shirpur, Pune and Nagpur); Rajasthan (Jaipur, Udaipur, Kota); Uttar Pradesh (Lucknow, Kanpur); West Bengal (Kolkata); Tamil Nadu (Chennai); Chattisgarh (Raipur); Punjab (Chandigarh); Orissa (Bhubaneswar); Bihar (Patna); Uttarakhand (Dehradun); Goa (Panaji)


Application Fees


  • Rs.1800/- for one school program
  • Rs.3000/-for all programs of two different schools
  • Rs.4000/- for all programs of three different schools
  • Rs.5000/- for all programs of four different schools

NOTE: Candidate must register once. Option is given to appear for test on both days (13 & 14th May'2017) by paying fees for both days as per school opted for. Option of date once chosen cannot be altered later/after successful completion of registration including payment.

  • Call Letters for NPAT 2017 will be Available: 08th May 2017 (at 05.00 pm)
  • Conduct of NPAT 2017 Online Test Saturday: 13 & Sunday 14 May 2017
  • NPAT 2017 Online Test on 13th & 14th May 2017 (from 10.00 am to 12.00 noon)
  • Merit List of candidates called for Admission Counselling: 05th June 2017
  • Admission Counselling & Payment of Fees: 15th to 22nd June 2017
  • Commencement of Course: 17th July 2017
  • Closure of Admission: 17th August 2017
