NMIMS B.Des Admission 2017 online registration process has been started from 31 January 2017. The candidates wish to make a bright career in designing, can apply for admission in NMIMS Narsee Monjee Institute of Management Studies, School of design.
NMIMS B.Des Admission will be based on an Online Test, Group discussion, Pen and Paper Design Test, Personal Interview, Portfolio Review. The candidates can register themselves only through online mode on the official website of NMIMS till Monday, 24 April, 2017.
Intake
Total intake in B.Des program at the school of Design at Mumbai campus is 25.
Eligibility Criteria
- Age: The candidates must be aged below 25 years old
- Academic Eligibility: Candidates should have passed Class 12 from a recognized university or institute. Those awaiting their Class 12 or equivalent examination result this year are also eligible to apply.
How to Apply
Step 1 - Click on Register and create your account. Remember to keep your 10th Roll Number handy.
Step 2 - Go to your mail box and verify
Step 3 – Login with your username and password and complete your application form.
Step 4 – Make online payment of registration fee
Registration Online on website www.nmims.edu and Pay registration Fee of Rs.1800/- (non-refundable) by Credit Card and by Demand Draft (Please refer online registration for payment details)
Refund Rules
In case an admitted student does not join the institution within 7 days of opening (commencement of the programme i.e. Monday, 24 July'2017) of the Institution, the Institution shall refund as follows:

1. Intimation of
cancellation received at least seven days before the Course Commencement of
the Programme the i.e. 18 July, 2017.
|
100%
of the fees less processing charges (Rs. 10,000/-)
|
|
2. Intimation of
cancellation received within six days before course commencement & upto
30 days after th course commencement of the program i.e. from 19 th July, 2017 to 23 August, 2017.
|
If
seat is filed up by another candidate within 30 days of course commencement -
100% of the fees less processing charges (Rs.10,000/-) If seat is not filed
up by another candidate within 30 days of course commencement - 50% of the
fees less processing charges (Rs.10,000/-)
|
Note: If a student joins the Institution, and then leaves it in mid-session then the entire fees collected shall be forfeited

Exam Pattern
The candidates appearing in the online entrance test have to follow the exam pattern given below:
- Total number of paper- 2 paper will be taken for B.Des
- Total number of section- 3 in each part
- Duration of the exam- 120 minute for part 1 and 90 minutes for part 2
