CUCET 2017, or the Central Universities Common Entrance Test, is an all-India level exam.
Central University of Rajasthan (CURAJ) is coordinating university of the CUCET 2017. A number of Central Universities in India will be accepting CUCET 2017 result to offer admission in UG and PG Programmes.
Candidates seeking admission in Central Universities, through CUCET 2017, can apply by submitting the form and paying fees.
CUCET 2017 Participating Universities
This year, Central University, Rajasthan is the coordinating university of CUCET 2017. An entrance test i.e., CUCET 2017 is conducted for the admission to various
Undergraduate, Postgraduate, Integrated Programmes, B. Voc and Research Programmes. The candidates who qualify in CUCET 2017 will get admission to any of the ten central varsities in India.

Courses Offered through CUCET 2017
Through the CUCET-2017 the following courses get offered. The list of the programmes offered are given below:
- Integrated B.A. / B.Sc. B.Ed Programmes (4 years)
- Integrated BA /M.A. Programme; Integrated M.A. Programmes (5 years); Integrated MBA Programmes (5 years)
- Integrated MBA Programme (5 years)
- Integrated M. Tech Programmes (5 years)
- Integrated M.Sc. Programmes (5 years)
- Integrated M.Sc. B.Ed. Programmes (6 years)
- Integrated Law Programmes (5 years); Bachelor's Programmes (3 years)
Eligibility Criteria
This test is conducted for the students of 10+2, Bachelor Degree holders and Master Degree holders to obtain admission into the UG/Integrated Program, Post Graduate Program and the Research Program respectively in these nine Central Universities
Note: All applicants are advised to check the eligibility criteria thoroughly before applying for the program, because, different universities have different eligibility criteria for similar courses. Hence, students will be themselves responsible if they opt for a course for which they are not eligible.
How to Apply
- Applications should be submitted ONLINE only; OFFLINE applications will NOT be accepted
- Applicants are required to have a valid personal email ID and mobile number which should be kept active during the entire admission process, so that the university may send alerts, important communications etc. regarding entrance test on them.
- Applicants should be ready with his/her good quality and latest digital photograph and signature of size between 10KB - 100 KB and 5KB – 20KB while applying.
- A candidate can apply for a particular programme for a maximum of three PUs with a maximum of 03 options of
- courses in each of the selected PU.
Application Fees
- For General/OBC Candidates: Rs.800/- + Bank Commission Rs.50/- Total Fee to be Paid: Rs.850/-
- For SC /ST Candidates: Rs.350/- + Bank Commission Rs.50/- Total Fee to be Paid: Rs.400/-
- PwD Candidates: All PWD candidates are exempted from CUCET-2017 fees as per Govt. of India

Exam Pattern
Part B: Domain Knowledge - comprising of 75 MCQs; this part may consist of three/four/five sections; each section will have 25 questions; a candidate is required to answer a set of any three sections (75 questions)
- For Admission to some Integrated Courses/MBA/MCA/LLB/LLM or any other general course(s), only one paper comprising of 100 MCQs covering English language, reasoning, data interpretations/numerical ability, general awareness and analytical skills will be held
- Each paper will be only of Two Hours Duration
- There will be negative marking in CUCET-2017. Each correct answer will carry 01 mark and for each wrong answer, 0.25 marks will be deducted. Questions not attempted will not be assessed and hence will not be considered for preparing final merit list
