Gautam Budhha University has released notification from eligible candidates for admission to the below mentioned programmes for the academic session 2017-18. 


Gautam Buddha University (“GBU”) is a government university located in Greater Noida, Gautam Buddha Nagar district. Uttar Pradesh, India.It is one of Uttar Pradesh’s State Govt. University which commenced its first academic session in the year 2008 


University campus is spread over 511 acres in Greater Noida(Delhi-NCR) and offers Bachelors,Masters and Doctoral Degrees in Engineering, Business Administration, Computer Applications, Biotechnology and Buddhist Studies and is mainly focused on Research

Currently Admissions are open for courses like (B.Tech-M.Tech/MBA), (B.Arch), (BBA-MBA), (BA-LLB)

Course Details & Eligibility 



  • Integrated Dual Degree Programme B.Tech, M.Tech and MBA: 10+2 with physics, Chemistry and Mathematics securing minimum 50% marks (40% for SC/ST). Candidates appearing in the 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics can also apply. Candidates must passed separately in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics with minimum 40% marks 
  • Bachelor in Architecture (B. Arch): Candidates must fulfill above mentioned eligibility criteria along with NATA score securing minimum 40% marks 
  • Integrated Dual Degree Programme (BBM and MBA): 10+2 in any stream securing minimum 50% marks (40% for SC/ST). Candidates appearing in the 10+2 can also apply 
  • Integrated Dual Degree Programme (B.Tech, M. Tech / MBA) in Food Processing and Technology: 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry and Biology/Mathematics securing minimum 50% marks (40% for SC/ST). Candidates appearing in the 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry, and Biology/Mathematics can also apply. Candidates must passed separately in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics/Biology with minimum 40% marks. 
  • Five Years Integrated Programmes (BA LLB): 10+2 in any stream securing minimum 50% marks (40% marks for SC/ST) is eligible to apply for the programme. Candidates appearing in the 10+2 can also apply.
  • Integrated Dual Degree Programme in B.Tech, M. Tech and MBA in Biotechnology: 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry and Biology / Mathematics securing minimum 50% marks (40% for SC/ST). Candidates appearing in the 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry and Biology/Mathematics can Also Apply. Candidates must passed separately in Physics, Chemistry and Biology / Mathematics with minimum 40% marks 
  • BA (Hons) 10+2 in any discipline with minimum 45% marks (40% for SC/ST). Candidates appearing in the 10+2 can also apply 



How to Apply 


Candidates may apply for admission through online or offline (OMR) application. Online Application form and brochure will be available on our website: www.gbu.ac.in

Application Fee may be submitted through credit card/debit card/Net Banking/ Demand Draft. 
Candidates must send the printed copy of the filled online application form along with the related documents and Demand Drafts (if applicable) to

  • OMR application form with admission brochure can be obtained from University Counter by paying in Demand Draft paying in favor of “Chairman, Admission Gautam Buddha University” payable at New Delhi of Rs 1200/- (Rs 600/- for SC/ST candidates) 
  • Outstation candidates may obtain OMR application forms by post after paying Demand Drafts drawn in favor of “Chairman, Admission Gautam Buddha University” payable at New Delhi of Rs 1250/- (Rs 650/- for SC/ST candidates)

Test centres 


Candidates are advised to give three choices of test centres. 

The centre may be relocated if the required number of students fails to opt for a particular centre in a specific test. Request of any change in the choice for test centre shall not be entertained under any circumstance.

  • Last Date for Application Form Submission for GPTU: 10th May 2017 
  • Last Date of Online Application Form Submission for Programmes under Direct Mode:  17th July 2017 
  • The Online Download of Admit Card for Written Test: 18th May 2017 
  • Date of Entrance Exam for GPTU:  28th May 2017 
  • Announcement of Results: 05th June 2017 
  • Declaration of Merit List: 21st July 2017
