Pravara Institute of Medical Sciences invites applications for All India Common Entrance Test AICET 2017 for the selection to Undergraduate Course in Physiotherapy (BPT) & Nursing (B.Sc. Nursing & B.P.B.Sc. Nursing) for the academic year 2017-18 was conducted by the Admission Committee.
Applications are invited from eligible candidates for Common Entrance Test (PIMS-AICET-ASUG 2017) to be conducted by the Pravara Institute of Medical Sciences, Loni for selection of students to B.P.T (Bachelor of Physiotherapy) and B.Sc. Nursing (Bachelor of Nursing), P.B.B.Sc Nursing Course run by the constituent colleges of Pravara Institute of Medical Sciences, Loni

Distribution of Seats
- General Category: 85 % seats are reserved under this category. The admission to this category will be made on the basis of interse merit of the candidates at PIMS-AICET- ASUG 2017
- FN (Foreign Nationals)/PIO (Persons of Indian Origin)/NRI (Non Resident Indians) Category 15 % seats are reserved under this Category
- The Foreign National (FN), wards of Persons of Indian Origin (PIO) settled abroad and wards of Non Resident Indians (NRI) are eligible to apply under this category. Preference will be given to the foreign nationals and wards of PIO
Eligibility Criteria
For BPT (Bachelor of Physiotherapy)
- Candidate must be Indian National.
- The nationality certificate issued by the District Magistrate / Additional District Magistrate /
- Chief Metropolitan Magistrate or a valid passport will be considered as a proof of Nationality.
- Candidate must have passed qualifying examination i.e. HSC (or equivalent) examination
- with the subject Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English.
- The candidate must be born on or before 31st December, 2000 to be eligible to appear for PIMS-AICET-ASUG 2017.
For B.Sc. Nursing
- Candidate must be Indian National.
- Candidate must have passed qualifying examination i.e. HSC or 10+2 (or other equivalent
- board AISSCE/ CBSE/ ICSE/ SSCE/ HSCE ) examination with the subject Physics, Chemistry,
- Biology and English indiviually. Students appearing in 10+2 examination in science
- conducted by National Institute of open school.
How to Apply
Candidates can apply to University courses using any of the following 3 options:
OPTION 1
- Download the application form from this website and send it to University by desired date.
OPTION 2
- The prospectus can be purchased from University Admissions office or by writing to the following address on payment of Rs. 500/- (for by post add Rs.200.00 towards postal charges).
- The DD should be drawn in the name of Pravara Institute of Medical Sciences, Loni payable at Pune.

Selection Process
- A candidate will be selected on the basis of merit in Common Entrance Test (PIMS-AICETASUG2017) conducted by PIMS University.
- The admission to BPT, Basic B.Sc. Nursing and P.B.B.Sc. Nursing Courses will be offered
- only on the basis of PIMS-AICET-ASUG 2017 merit at the time of counselling.
- There is no reservation for backward class (SC/ST/NT/OBC etc) .

At the time of counselling, the candidate will have to bring a demand draft of entire fees mentioned in clause (a) above in favour of “Pravara Institute of Medical Sciences, Loni”, drawn on bank as indicated below:

Entrance Test Examination Fee
Rs. 750/-. (In case of downloaded application form, entrance test fee is ` 900/-).
Entrance Exam
- For BPT and Basic B.Sc. Nursing, there will be one question paper of 3 hours duration containing 200 multiple choice questions (MCQs), 50 questions each in Physics, Chemistry , Botany and Zoology
- Each correct answer will be awarded one mark. There will be no negative marking for wrong answers
- Scratching, overwriting, tick-marking and multiple answers will be considered as wrong answers and no mark will be awarded
