Applications are invited from eligible Class XII/ Intermediate pass-out candidates aspiring for admission to the 3-year [6-semester) full-time B.Sc. (Animation & Multimedia) programme at BIT Off Campuses Jaipur & Noida for the session 2017-18.
The candidates seeking admission in BIT Jaipur or Noida campuses have to fill up separate application form for jaipur or Noida Campus. Admission 2017 will be done on the basis of class 12 marks followed by interview & Aptitude Test.

Eligibility Criteria
- Candidates must have passed Class12 / Equivalent Qualifying Examination with minimum 50% (45% for SC/ST/ PwD) marks (average of 4 core subjects)
- Percentage of marks in Class12 / Equivalent Qualifying Examination to be computed as average of English + Best 3 other core subjects.
- Only those candidates whose date of birth falls on or after 1 October 1992 in case of General category and 1 October 1987 in case of SC/ST/PwD are eligible for admission. Date of Birth as recorded in the Secondary Education Board Class X (High School) certificate only will be considered as authentic.
General Instructions:
- Before applying online, candidates are advised to download the B.Sc. Animation & Multimedia Information Brochure 2017 (pdf) and read it carefully.
- Fill all items that are relevant to you in capital letters or numbers or tick (✓) the check box / radio button as required. All items are mandatory and must be filled in; otherwise, the form may be rejected.
- Please ensure that all information provided is correct and accurate. Admission on false information and certificate will be ipso facto null and void and also punishable under the various provision of Indian Penal Code.
- After filling the complete form, you will be prompted to “Save for Later” before you click on the “Generate Application Number” button. Candidates will have the option to save the form to a maximum of only three times. Please ensure that all fields are correctly filled in before you finally click on the “Final Application Submission” button.
- Take a printout of application form by clicking on “Print Application” button. Note: Once you click on the “Final Application Submission” button, the Form is set to read only. You may however return to the form to view or print it again.

How to Apply
- To start online application, click on the link “Apply Online”, create ‘username’ and ‘password’ when prompted. Do not share the username and password with anyone.
- To apply for B.Sc. Animation & Multimedia programme, eligible candidates must complete and submit the application online only [the link is given below]. Pay application fee of Rs.1,500/- (General candidates) or Rs.1,000/- (SC/ST candidates) through State Bank Collect - net banking or debit/credit card of any nationalized bank in favour of “Birla Institute of Technology” within the given time period. [Fee once remitted shall not be refunded under any circumstances].
- Use separate application form, in case applying for both Campuses and pay additional application fee.
Payment Details
- After generation of ‘Application Number’ click on the link State Bank Collect for payment towards application fee as mention in the admission notification.
- [Candidate may use the net banking or debit / credit card payment through any nationalized bank].
- On clicking the link “State Bank Collect” a disclaimer clause page will appear, where candidate has to click on check box to proceed for the payment.
- New page will appear where candidate need to select “Application Fee” from the drop down box.
Note:
- The original copy of the payment receipt should be attached along with printout of online application form.
- Bank charges are extra and will be payable by the candidate only. Fee once remitted shall not be refunded under any circumstances.
Selection Process
Selection will be based on marks obtained in the required subject in Class 12/QE and performance in Creative Aptitude Test & Interview.
Weightage of marks considered in merit list is 40% for creativity aptitude test +10% Interview + 50% for class 12th marks.
