About
India-Korea Friendship Essay Writing Competition has been
introduced by Korean Cultural Centre India to foster friendship among India and
Korea (the republic of Korea also known as South Korea).
The participant will
be offered the certificates and other rewards. The candidates have to write an
essay in English in 300-500 words. To participate in India Korea Friendship
Essay Writing Competition, the applicants have to write essays on:

How to Apply
The application can be done by post or by email with the
following steps:
- Step 1: Write an essay on the topic for class 7th to 9th 'what I like about South Korea' in 150 to 300 words (essay should be handwritten or typed in English).
- Step 2: Write an essay on the topic for class 10th to 12th 'why I want to visit South Korea' in 300 to 500 words (essay should be handwritten or typed in English).
- Step 3: Now email it or send it to the given address:

Essay Submission Guidelines
· The Essay is to be written on any of the given
topics:
- Junior Group: "What I like about South Korea?"
- Senior Group: "Why I want to visit South Korea?"
Other Information;
- The essay should be written in English Language only.
- The essay may be hand-written, typed or printed out.
- It should be of 150-300 words for Junior and it should be between 300-500 words in case of the Senior Group.
- No review request would be entertained.
- Contest is open ONLY to Indian Students residing in India
- Travel will be paid to winners for participation in Award Ceremony in Delhi
- Travel paid for top 3 winners. Only for Winners outside Delhi NCR
- Maximum Rs 10,000 for Air Fare on presenting the actual ticket
- Maximum Rs 5,000 for Train Fare on presenting the actual ticket
- Korea means Republic of Korea also popularly known as South Korea
- Entries are property of organizers and are non-returnable
- No Participation Fee or any other Fee at any stage
- Prizes are NOT encashable and NOT transferable
- Travel to Korea will be subject to Government procedures
- Free Trip to Korea for winners will be of 6 Days / 5 Nights
