The AFMC is affiliated to Maharashtra University of Health Sciences, Nashik and is recognized by the Medical Council of India

Admission to Armed Forces Medical College (AFMC), Pune in 2016 shall be subject to the norms prescribed by the Directorate of Armed Force medical Services, Ministry of Defence, Government of India.

Armed Forces Medical College (AFMC) Pune invites application form for MBBS Course based on the scores obtained in CBSE AIPMT 2016  for the session commencing in the month of July 2016

Eligibility Criteria

A candidate seeking admission to the MBBS course in AFMC is eligible if he/she fulfills the following criteria

Applicants must have passed the 12th class examination with at least 60% aggregate marks in Physics, Chemistry and Biology taken together

A candidate should be citizen of India

The candidate may be a subject of Nepal or Bhutan or a person of Indian origin migrated from Pakistan or any other foreign country with the intention of permanently settling in India

Foreign nationals of Indian origin may be admitted into AFMC only after they have acquired Indian citizenship or in respect of whom a certificate of eligibility is issued by the Ministry of Home Affairs

Must be unmarried

 

Age Limit

The age of 17 years on 31st December, 2016 but must not have attained the age of 22 years on that date (must have been born not earlier than 01st January, 1995 and not later than 31st December, 2000) for 10+2 or equivalent

Must not have attained the age of 24 years (must have been born not earlier than 01st January, 1993) for passed B.Sc examination or appearing in final B.Sc examination

Selection Method

Eligible candidates who are interested to join AFMC Pune, to pursue the MBBS course will have to mandatory appear for the AIPMT - 2016 examination to be conducted by CBSE and should have ticked on the option for AFMC

However, in case a candidate had failed to tick on the option for AFMC, he/she may still apply online if eligible

The AIPMT - 2016 roll number is essential for being recognized for admission to AFMC Pune and shall be required at all stages of admission process

Candidates who are appearing in the AIPMT-2016 examination will have to register and apply online to AFMC Pune on the

Candidates can apply for AFMC Pune 2016 only through "Online". Armed Force Medical College 2016 MBBS Online Application Form will be available in the following

Prospectus including application form will be available online; prospective candidates must have a mandatory, valid e-mail id

Candidates desirous for admission into AFMC Pune will have to register and apply online on the website www.afmcdg1d.gov.in or atwww.afmc.nic.in

To be considered for admission to AFMC Pune, the eligible candidates should have appeared in AIPMT-2016 and also applied online to AFMC Pune

Application Fee Payment

Visit the nearest State Bank of India Bank branch on the next day i.e. one day after generation of challan or any day till the last day of payment at bank.(Example: If you have have generated your challan from the website on 30th April 2016, you can visit your nearest SBI bank branch on 01st May 2016 or any day till last day of payment, to make the payment of Rs.250/- (Application + Bank charges).

• The last date for submission of online application is 18th May 2016 and the last date for generation of challan from your login account is 22nd May 2016

• Last day for payment and depositing the challan at any SBI bank branch will be 26th May 2016
