Admission Test for IcfaiTech (ATIT) is an All India Admission Test conducted by The ICFAI Foundation for Higher Education (IFHE), Hyderabad for students seeking admission into the B.Tech Programme.
Candidates applying for admission on the above basis will be offered admission into the B.Tech Programme based on their scores in JEE (Main) 2017 / State Level / Other National Level Engineering Entrance Test (2017)
ATIT 2017 is an aptitude test conducted in the following modes Online and Offline Test mode
B. Tech Programme
In the last 20 years, Scientific & Technological Advancements have fundamentally altered the living & Lifestyle. Everything from Electronics to Information Sciences to Nano-Technology has caused drastic changes in the Technological & Engineering Environment around the Globe
Eligibility Criteria
- Students securing 60% aggregate in class X and class XII or its equivalent with Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry and English as subjects are eligible to apply
- Applications should have completed 12 years of formal schooling in order to apply for the programme; final year students of class XII or its equivalent awaiting exam results may also apply
Selection Process
- Admission is through an All India Admission Test (ATIT 2017); alternatively, scores of JEE (Main) 2017/State Level/Other National Level Engineering Entrance Tests 2017 are also accepted
Merit Scholarships
- Based on percentage in 10+2 exam/Ranks secured in JEE (Main) 2017/State Level Engineering Entrance Tests 2017; additionally, merit scholarships are also offered in each semester based on semester-wise performance
Award of Degree
- On successful completion of the course of studies, students will be awarded a B. Tech degree under the Faculty of Science & Technology from the University (IFHE, Hyderabad)
- The Faculty of Science & Technology, a constituent of the IFHE, a Deemed University u/s 3 of the UGC Act, 1956 at Hyderabad offers a unique four-year, full-time campus-based B. Tech Programme
Paper Pattern for ATIT 2017
- Online Test: It is in Computer Based Test (CBT) format; the test is of 2 hours duration and is conducted in 2-3 sessions per day at test centers all over India
- Offline Test: It is in Paper Based Test (PBT) format. The test is of 2 hours duration. The answers have to be marked in the specially designed OMR answer sheet which will be provided at the time of the admission test
- Both online & offline tests constitute objective type questions in Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry and English in multiple-choice format
- There will be 30 questions in each of the subjects of Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry and English
Offline Test Centres: Agartala, Aizawl, Baddi, Dehradun, Dimapur, Gangtok, Hyderabad, Imphal, Itanagar, Jaipur, Jamshedpur, Lucknow, Patna, Raipur, Ranchi, Shillong, Tura, Varanasi and Vijayawada
How to Apply
Students interested in appearing for ATIT 2017 can apply by any one of the following methods:
- OMR Application Form: Applicants are required to fill up the OMR Application Form enclosed and send it to the Admissions Officer, ATIT at Hyderabad
- Online Application: Applicants can apply online by filling up the Application Form available at www.icfaiuniversity.in/atit or http://icfaiuniversity.in/itsat/itsat2017/itsatprg.asp and make payment of Rs.700/- towards the cost using Credit/Debit Card (Visa/Master Card/Internet Banking) through secure internet payment gateway; applicants applying online should upload their passport size color photograph while filling the Online Application
- Download of Application Form: Alternatively, applicants can file their details online, download the Application Form from www.icfaiuniversity.in/atit, and send it to the Admissions Office along with the Demand Draft of Rs.700/- towards the cost
- The DD should be drawn in favor of "IFHE - A/c ATIT (2017) Prospectus Fee" payable at Hyderabad
The completed OMR Application Form in case of physical application & downloaded filled-in application with DD should be sent to the Admissions Office, through speed post or courier to

- Last Date for Receipt of Completed OMR/Online Application Form is 20th April 2017
- Scheduling the ATIT 2017 by the Candidates - Offline 07th May 2017 and Online 08th May 2017

- For Offline: 07th May 2017 (10.00 am to 12.00 noon)
- For Online: 08th May to 20th May 2017
- Date of Results: 30th May 2017
- Date of Interview 26th to 30th May 2017
